Good stuff Matty. Can’t even imagine shrugging 425, that’s freaking cool. Really feeling the traps right now?
Thanks Ty, actually the MP shrugs fucked with me more
Okay, those looked interesting, how do they compare to hisers?
MP Shrugs? Is that shrugging from the top position in the press?
Great work as always. Those are fantastic rows.
james
Heckuva way to end the work week Matty, jelly of those benches…working that direction. Workout planned for the weekend? Have a good one.
MP shrugs are supposed to be good for shoulder health, is that why you’re doing them? And are you using a wider grip than your regular MP grip?
Man, you do a lot of work. Paused squats ftw.
nice work- OH shrugs are nice
nice work broski
Good stuff here Matty! I need to keep up with my reading here on T-mag, you guys are tearing it up!
looks like you’ve added other stuffs to the program?
I’m thinking of starting allll over with stronglifts. Instead of bench press I was going to do push ups(and then eventually weighted)

There actually not OH Shrugs where its lifted over in the lockout position or Hise where its in a shrug position…my inner body builder called on Lord CT for these…I did em for shoulder stability as well as hitting the lower traps…
James - Thanks brother, I will admit that on the 275 set there was some english on em…
Led - How bout this, give me some poundage on your awesome squat numbers and in turn Ill give you some of my pressing weight…deal?
PG - Paused squats are fucking awesome, obviously for power out of the hole, but they also seem to hit my quads more, or at least I feel soreness in my quads more than regular back squats where I feel em in my glutes and hammies more.
Colin - Thanks bro, looking awesome in the avie BTW!
Kev - Thanks mang ![]()
MiM - I thing strong lifts would be perfect…but why no Bench? I love me some weighted pushups. I am a pro at bastardizing programs so I added an extra day to do some stuff I cant fit in, but that day may be supplanted with a conditioning day, Im buying a sled next week.
OTHER STUFFS DAY:
Felt like shit oh well…
A1) INCLINE BP - 135/10 185/10 225/10 275/5
ADDED AVERAGE GRAY BAND - 135/9,7
A2) BAND PULLAPARTS LIGHT ORANGE BAND 4X10
SPOON PRESS - 70/15 100/10
ROLLING TRI EXT - 30/10 40/10 50/10
SHOULDER TRIAD
OH PRESS - 135/10, FRONT PLATE RAISE 90/10, REV DB FLY 40/10 3 ROUNDS
LOW CABLE ROW - 140/10 210/10 240/10
SOME CURLZZZZ
I guess I could try bench again(it hurts!)
Since I’m starting over I figure if I can’t do proper push ups then I have no bizznass benching anyway.
Oh it did for me to MiM, I hated flat benching, and only started doing it again I would say about 5 or 6 months before my first PL meet. The caveat here is I started benching correctly and feel no pain any longer. I benched all my life with elbows flared with a flat back and it wrecked my shoulders to the point where I stopped it all together. Now that I bench PL style I have no pain in my shoulders and actually enjoy it
Stopping by, Matty…btw have you ever done any competitions (e.g. powerlifting)?
Nice DL Matty. Nice video
curlzzzzz for the gurlzzzzzz
how have the elbows been?
hit it hard this week, matty!
