MiM - Whats up! Yep I have been very satisfied with the strength progression thus far, here and there I have missed a rep or two but thats to be expected.

SCJ - I actually prefer Bro-science, scientist-science get lost on me, bro science is a lexicon I can relate to…bro! But seriously I agree false grips main benefit for me is it allows me to push through my wrists so to speak and it prohibits the bar from rolling back.

DJ - I use false grips on all presses now, even flat BP. At first it was a little nerve wracking but like I said it prohibits the bar from falling on my hands and I get a better push and it leads to a better bar path for me.

Ink - Thanks broheim, Im a shit puller, I wish I could say I have an excuse like I have T-rex arms or something but its all bad technique and habits, but Im trying.

Joe - All I use is chalk, the only exercise I use straps for is heavy BB shrugs or DB rows.

James - Dude I swear Im not flexing on purpose! I try to grab the bar tight and the connection of grabbing the bar tight and flexing my arms always happens! Your suggestion is a good one but I worry it may hurt my strength progression, it will be something I may try during a deload.

for Matty- pulling dbl overhand might get those arms straight
and while I NEVER advocate straps unless they are for HS machines
I would say to do a few weeks of dbl OH straps on some loads

what if you did some RDL accescory work or dimel deads with dbl overhand
I am trying to move to just dbl OH or Hook
I can pull 405 hook - but its depends on what else is happening in the week
to make my grip crap.

these dimel dead lifts- he claims the lifter Matt Dimel did this high speed partial deadlift
low weight 2x20 dude weighed 275 so probably 225
and that is what drove up his squat and blew up his Hamstrings

only when I read it a bunch did I learn dimel did them 4x a week

maybe if you did those 135 2x20 4x a week dbl oh it would be enough.

I am thinking I want to do that.

Couldn’t agree more. This is the only lift in 5/3/1 that I always do 5 reps on with the exception of week 3 where I get 3 on the 95% lift.
