Dude with the compliments I received today I cant even walk in a doorway w/o rubbing butter on my temples! Thanks brother!

Matty,

I saw you post somewhere about leg drive on bench. One thing that helped me was floor presses, with your legs close together (maybe even touching) and knees in the air. It sort of forces you to clench your ass and drive with your legs to get the bar started, especially when you get within a few reps of failure.

Also, I haven’t forgotten that Sanchez threw more than 15 INTs. I’m choosing between a couple potential avis for you right now… muwahahah

SJC - Damn bro I thought you would forget, well have at it Mfer

Im also gonna try those floor press with the legs together, I did floor presses as an ME exercise when I was running westside and while my knees were bent they were not touching…thanks for the tip broski!

Thanks Bulldog and Joe!

I havent been sleeping to well and feel a cold coming on so I didnt train today. will get up early and hit it hard Sat and Sunday.

STARR 5X5 WEEK 4 DAY 3

Im gonna redo the week 4 being as though I missed a rep on the 295x5 (only got 4) and couldnt front squat. I will however forgo DLing this week and then I will be in line for week 5. Starr says if you miss a lift or rep redo the week. Also I forgot to bring my spreadsheet so I did the lifts from my memory and missed a lift on the BB row due to bicep pain.

SQUAT - 135/5 185/5 225/5 275/5 315/3

BENCH - 135/5 185/5 225/5 275/5 300/3

CGBP - 225/10

A1) BB ROW (OVERHAND) - 135/5 185/5 225/5 275/0
A2) SUPINATED CHINS - 0/10 25/7 25/6 45/4 0/7

Did this in an under an hour I still feel shitty, but not bad for being rushed, gym closed at 7 I got there at 6.

Damn! you are one strong Hoss!

We need to get together one weekend. WE can try to wreck your city.

I like it very much and this type of progression either the Linear intermediate or advance version will be staple in my routine for the foreseeable future. Squatting 3 times a week has given me confidence in two things my form and my depth, I know longer have to think of all the cues any longer, I know the sweet spot of the bar position, My chest is automatically in the right spot, my legs are automatically the proper width I am comfortable at so this is very very good. It has ingrained the cues that they are no longer needed to be remembered they just happen.
