If You're Not Lean Under 200 Lbs....

pumped340: I’m sure you could weigh 200 lbs lean, but you just don’t feel like eating and training for it. You’re not looking for good feedback on your bitches and complaints, so you don’t care about taking the picture and getting more accurate advice.

pumped340: To be clear, you conveniently didn’t mention what you can squat, and it’s probably your quads/hams that suck in addition to your calves. (not much over 15in unfortunately)
To be clear, you can’t read for shit

A vid or pic or 2 couldn’t hurt man. You should be aware by now of all the unsubstantiated/exaggerated claims that are thrown around here, and why we’re skeptical of shit that sounds…off.

I don’t see how it sounds off. I’m relatively strong (by some standards anyway…) so I can’t have an issue with fat gain?
lol. Believe me, I’m not one to put genetic limitations on myself when it comes to reaching my goals. My diet has been looked at and approved by several coaches (Shelby Starnes for one as well as others). How much weight have you gained in these 4 weeks?

When you say you increased workload from 4 sessions to 5-6, are you talking about lifting sessions? Or just something in general including cardio/GPP of some type?
Weight gain as of Feb 1st: 203 lbs (carb depleted) to current 218 lbs (carb loaded)

Obvious large water gain … minimal fat gain. Once my weight settled down @ 212 lbs as I started holding onto water the first couple of weeks, gains from there on in have been 1 to 2 lbs per week. When I stated an increased workload, I meant an extra lifting session or two a week. But you could have a cardio day in there if you really feel like it.

Also, not to hate, but having a nutrition plan approved by anyone regardless of their credentials doesn’t mean a whole lot as one would need a comprehensive analysis of the subject in order to provide an optimal nutritional plan to that subject - which based on odds, I think isn’t the case for you. If you are putting on too much fat from your current intake, you need to make an executive decision and cut back on the calories or do something that increases your metabolism. Not trying to come across as an ass or anything, just you need to rely on yourself to tweak. Just seems like you’re using the fat gain as an genetic inevitability to gaining lean mass.

Apologies if anything has already been covered comprehensively. I seen this a few days back but after page 6 I really didn’t read anymore posts.

To clarify, it sounds off because you almost military what you row(shit, almost what you bench). Maybe it’s a push press, maybe you unrack the bar already locked out and just hold it for a few seconds who the fuck knows. Are you actually like 7% bodyfat(which would then make your 190lbs at 6’ decent) and measured with bioimpedence like kingbeef(lol =p) and allowed it to convince you that you are 17% and fat?

That’s why people keep asking for pictures, because this just doesn’t add up(not just the numbers, everything), and it just so happens that the most simple explanation is that you boosted your numbers a bit to add some credibility to the thread, thinking it wouldn’t become focused upon yourself.

Well I certainly don’t need this thread to keep going, but me having skinny legs sure doesn’t answer anything about why I and others would gain a lot of fat or need to in order to get big lol

Of course, I will continue to gain weight and increase my lifts…got some compliments from the cafeteria workers today that I’m looking bigger  (Been called the “egg man” and the “chicken guy” for all that I eat there haha)
You don’t understand why having a balanced physique would help you avoid adding fat mass to reach your target weight?

Do you really think your body wants to keep growing if your legs aren’t big enough to support the weight.

I’d love to see a natural guy with a truly massive upper body and small legs. It’s just not going to happen.
I’ve seen some close examples to that, of course i have no idea if they were natural or not, or if they had what you would consider a truely massive upper body, but its a plague that runs rampent at my university, oddly enough when i got back home for the summers i rarely ever see people look like that.
?

You see guys weighing over 250lbs at 6 feet tall or less with NO leg development but 20" arms?

When we use words like “massive” it does NOT fucking mean some guy who is simply bigger than you.
My definition of truly massive is someone who, upon seeing the person, your first reaction is “holy shit” and you automatically assume he could be a successful bodybuilder.
well if thats the case i’ve probably only have seen one guy ever who fits that definition. Dude had seriously crazy shoulders.
However i do see guys who sound more upper body developed then the op who never train legs, but i guess that doesnt account for truely massive. my bad.

I don’t understand why dude isn’t able to comprehend why his pic is necessary to answer what his original query was.

…and after years of lifting, if you’re not at 200lbs., then yeah, you fucked up a long time ago, doggy.

Instead of worrying about reaching 200lbs. lean, you should be trying to get to like 220-plus with little regard for body fat. Period.

This shit is so fucking simple…

Yo get_ate, is that you in the avatar? If so, MONSTER.

It’s not that - just that everyone in this thread is doubting you because you won’t simply post a picture! This is BODYBUILDING - a picture is worth a thousand words? Never a truer statement when it comes to bodybuilding.

You’re arguing, throwing out numbers, doing the “Oh woe is me” thing on every page, but you won’t post a picture because you “don’t feel like it”?

You MUST understand how spurious that sounds…
