My excuse for what…?
And I’ve done everything you quoted from Dante, except the thermogenics. Nothing beyond pretty standard advice there.
What are you saying you haven’t followed his protein intake protocol?
Pictures speak volume. How about posting some buddy? I think you’re cutting yourself short not letting us see what’s going on exactly. I’ve seen your numbers and most of them looked pretty damn good. So maybe you’re being a bit to hard on yourself? and just “think” your fat gain is a bigger issue than it really is.
Yes I am saying I followed his protein “protocol”, which is just 2g/lb. I’m doing close to that now (1.9g/lb or so)
And I have no recent pictures.

Have you considered what I said earlier about stress being a big limiting factor (i.e. causing lower T-levels and more fat gains etc)?
Most people on here have said that you aren’t pushing hard enough etc, but it could be the reverse. Many know how to push forward, but have no clue about when to “pull back”.
I know you say that you’re not talking just about yourself, but when you said that when you “gave up cardio”, and saw little difference, it could be that you were overly stressed (you were fighting a losing battle against your hormones). That of course doesn’t mean that one has to drastically decrease workload (as long as diet is ok); it just means that you need to know at what point to “take it easy” so that you’re body can catch up/overcompensate and hormones can get back into balance.
I must have missed your post about that. Well, strength is going up so it seems I’m generally recovering…I also tend to have a deload week after every 4-5 weeks. I do tend to stress though, and my sleep kind of sucks since I wake up 1-2x/night, I often have to sleep for 30min. or so during the day.

This has been a problem for me quite a few times. People are always quick to assume that you are just another regular joe going to the gym for shits and giggles, and that you don’t try hard enough.
That would be because 99% of the time that IS the issue. Do you know how many times I have literally had a discussion with someone IN the gym where they tell me how hard they lift only to actually work in with them on some exercises and find out they aren’t pushing anywhere near the level they THINK they are?
I would venture that most people who claim they see minimal progress THINK they are training hard…simply because they don’t have enough experience around serious trainers to know the difference.
Either way, I believe it when I see it.
This guy has shown NO pictures of his progress.
We should all be asking WHY at this point.
If you train hard, it shows in your physique…unless your genetics truly suck ass for this.

lol you’re one to talk, you’ve been a member for 8 years and only recently put up pictures. Now you call out everyone who doesn’t have pictures.
As for the intensity, obviously I can’t show you. But if I’m pushing the weight and my face is beat red and the weight is just barely getting up, how is that not intense?
And regarding your comment about having trained for 5 years and not being a lean 200lb. yet, after how many years would say you that should have been accomplished? Rough estimate.
