What is your intention here…simply to be able to use it or to attempt to market it? Two completely different paths.
How about both? I have no idea where to start exactly besides this sketch I have sitting in front of my face. It is not a bullshit machine that promises abs with no work and I will accept the fact if my design or product fails. I figure it is worth a shot

First, mail a copy to yourself with return receipt. This will give a date stamp to show that you’ve been trying to commercially develop the product.
Next find out how much it is going to cost to produce a workable prototype. If it involves metal, talk to someone who can weld and ask them. Don’t worry about the cosmetics at first, padding is cheap and can be added later. Once you figure out the cost, you have to determine whether or not it is worth producing a prototype. Is the machine adaptable to different body types, heights, structure, etc… If so then, what is the total potential market compared to the relative cost to produce per unit? If the numbers add up and the machine seems viable, a rudamentary business plan should be pretty easy and then we’ve got to work on financing the prototype.
