I just tried the sample routine for arms that CT posted in his latest articles ‘3 Ways’ and let me say for the record that the thing was the shit. Excellent. I chose body drag curls for my sets of 3-5, and close grip preacher curls for my sets of 8-10.
Damn good the next day my arms are rock hard and peaked out. Best arm routine I’ve done in years- and I’m not kidding. I think I’ll try the other suggestions in that article.
Thanks, I only been lifting since I was 13. I think I know how an efective routine feels. Sheesh. In any case, I’m going to advocate it because of what I am feeling. I also tried 5x5 and 8x8 for arms and I do believe that the mix of low and moderate reps actually feels entirely different than I’m used to, and believe me, arms and me have had a long relationship.
I said that because that’s the routine I’ve recently incorporated for arms as well. Believe me, I know exactly how great it feels aftewards.
