I Need Your Help, Badly.

don’t always belive what you read. if you have a genetic disposistion to be bald your probably going to be. join the hair club for men and deal with it. now stop eating liek a bitch and gain some muscle. working your legs makes your whole body grow.

If you are going into the marines, they will not allow you to take any prescription meds, including Propecia, during basic training.

Why are you such an asshole? Your tone is unnecessary.

I already had a hair transplant and am trying to deal with it through medication as well. I am paying a lot of money to beat my genetic disposition and I don’t take kindly to being made fun of about it.

I know about working out legs, I need to really concentrate on that.

Nothing-- not one single thing-- about creatine or the effects it will have on you will cause hair loss. If you were right, creatine would have to a) be androgenic b) increase DHT levels c) interfere with the action of the 5-alpha reductase inhibitor you’re taking. Also, as I’m sure you know, 5-alpha reductase inhibitors have all manner of nasty side effects, not the least of which is possible gynecomastia from unusual estrogen/androgen ratios.

You probably don’t eat enough. You probably do too much cardio. You probably don’t lift heavy enough, and if you aren’t squatting or deadlifting you’re cheating yourself.

haha

The side effects you mention happen in less than 1% of users.

Okay…

So, Alpha Male or TRIBEX?

So, Alpha Male or TRIBEX?
Well, whatever - I just got Alpha Male, Surge, and the Whey.
Dhuge66 wrote:

Neither! First off, both of them could mess up your hormonal profile. If you’re prohibiting your testosterone from 5-alpha reducing to DHT (to save your hair), that means there is more test around to aromatize to estrogen. Why would you even consider either one of those with your medication situation?

All that is incidental, though, since it doesn’t seem like you get it in the big picture. Supplements aren’t the answer if you are not eating enough and can’t train right-- and let’s face it, if you’re 5’9" @ 165 and have been training for four years you aren’t doing something right.
Did you read a damn thing I wrote and do you realize how conflicted your post is with what others were saying?

I stated that i used to be large - putting on size isn’t hard for me. I run a lot to keep myself in shape for the Marines and to meet their time requirements. I can’t carry too much excess bulk and do that.

From what everyone’s been saying, a testosterone booster should not cause problems with my Propecia dosage or increase hair loss.

Hopefully that’s the case, as I just spent $90 on supplements…

No more information here? Is a t-booster totally off-limits when combined with Propecia. That’s a pretty important thing for me to find out…

Thanks

So ask your doctor. And btw, try squatting.

i never said a test booster wont mess with hair loss for all you know there could be steroids in the test boosters.

Steroids in test boosters? wtf?

And isn’t this place supposed to be full of experts. What is a doctor going to know about Propecia AND testosterone boosters…I was thinking that some people here may have used both.

The experts are the authors/strength coaches, not the average T-Nation poster.

I’d suggest going into the Author’s Locker room and asking some of the authors of this site.

How do I get in direct touch with them, considering I don’t think it allows me to PM them?

Just post in their threads, like the “New Thib zone” or the “ericcressey.com” or “Waterbury’s Locker” or “July 2006 and Beyond” posts.

They each have their own threads started for people to ask them for advice and suggestions.

Thanks, I asked…hopefully he gets to it.

Also, here’s what my back looks like…pretty developed for someone who doesn’t know anything and eats too little, right?

Bro, whatsmybodyfat seems to be having fun with you. A natural test booster is likely not going to speed up your hair loss, it’s possible, but unlikely. There are full blown steroids that won’t speed up hair loss where some will and a lot is dependent on the individual.

A natural test booster like Alpha Male is going to get you to high normal levels probably not drastically far from where you are now. My take is go ahead and give it a shot. If you notice an increase (unlikely) in hair loss stop. Don’t start seeing imaginary hair loss because you already believe it’s going to happen however.
