Hey guys me and my buddy just started working out and we swich from upper body one day and lower the next. For our upper we would do mainly triceps and biceps, until I started thinking that we were working our arms to much. So, can anyone please give me help with telling me a good plan for working out thanks.

Agree with you. Good consolidation of articles/threads, some I had not read for a long time. I forgot how good that thread for beginner gym etiquette “frat curls” was
It should be permanently attatched to the beginner section, somehow??
Vroom, nice work mate

sorry for the newby questions but what is a good workout if i want to get bigger leaner not fatter i am 6’1 155lbs thanks for the help.[/quote]
fightnight1, seriously, save yourself the arse-kicking you will probably receive from the veterans of this site which you will if you continue down that route… that is, continue asking everyone else here to spoon-feed you info.
Go do what we non-“newby” have had to do for the past however many months/years… READ. For the love of god, if you see a beautiful breast you don’t wait for someone to fondle it for you and then bring it to your suckling mouth. You go and suckle on it under your own power.
There is a wealth of info here on this site, and I think just about every routine here is meant to make you “bigger leaner not fatter”.
I mean, have you even clicked on that link??? It really doesn’t get much simpler than that.

Big mistake! You’re knowledge dictates your results. Want to get big but not fat? How much do you know about diets for gaining or losing? Hit a plateau in your training, what do you do?
Read my friend and then read some more. If you THEN have some questions, everybody here will be more than happy to help you, AFTER you have done your homework.
