That’s cool. Because even if your head was up your ass, you still couldn’t find “shit”!

Great posts guys, I am trying not to laugh too loud at work. Sed man if you are benching over 1.5 times your body weight for mult reps, your not doing too bad for highschool. Come on guys I know you can get another page or two of flamming in here over shifty math…

To give you guys a idea of how much spotting can help, and how much it goes to your head when your a kid in highschool

14 years old, with a spot at 305, he says oh no the guy didnt help at all etc.

Now 16 years old with a bench shirt, and no spot.

spots are bullshit, they mean nothing, its been a day, your dad had to come home at some point, and we all know you bench every other day so dont give us that bullshit that you will do it in a week or something.

Post a video of 315x13 or 365x5-6 shit, maybe a double with 405.

You might have pulled this off if it werent for the " " ← scare quotes. When used in rhetoric they are to indicate sarcasm or to indicate you mean something other than actually stated. Because you in fact meant he couldn’t find shit…as in a turd…you should not have put the scare quotes because they suggest you don’t actually mean the word they are around, but you actually mean some sort of antonym or other mode of sarcasm.

Take a rhetoric class. I hope I didn’t befuddle your jacked brain Mr. Atlas Bench-Pressed.

Still with me?

ahhh yes rhetoric, a famed student of Plato, a man named Aristotle (you may have heard of him) defined the term in his “second treatise on rhetoric” which he used to counsel the greeks as “the art of persuasion”…hmm yes yes…

i personally enjoy allusion…

how about you?

Well today I did a workout that my coach had me do. 1,2,3,4,5 reps of 245,255,265,275,285. I improvised since it was way too little for me to do and I did five reps of all except the last set of 285lbs. which I did 8 times without any outside help on any sets. I could’ve did it more if it was my first set.

To tell you the truth I really don’t blame yall for calling BS simply because a highschool kid like coming to this very forum is like finding Michael Jordan here. It’s rare that people make such claims and are actually true. Flame on if you want but I’m not the type to waste my time lying.

I can out do the bench workout you just did, and I only bench 365ish.

And Im better at maxing than I am reps, so that is complete bullshit and you had the fuck spotted out of you.

Whatever, I already said that I just did the positive portion of the max which surely added on to the maxout but last time I checked which was well over 6 weeks ago I was at 345lbs unspotted. That was back then when I couldn’t do the weight that I am doing now for reps.

the posotive portion of the lift is the hard part, no out doubts that you can lower, “or get crushed” 430 to your chest. We just know that you didnt press it back up on your own.

The hardest part of the deadlift is getting it up, not putting it down.

Unless your in a bench suit, you will never miss a lift for not being able to get the bar to your chest.

Well getting it off the bench and lowering it alone can take lots of energy before the actual lifting. You let someone lift the weight and lower it on your chest and see don’t you get it back up. I did it wether you believe it or not. It’s just one of those things that you’d have to see to believe.

You are crafty, using allusion to express your joy in allusion. Clever.

Allusion-not to be confused with Illusion or delusion, which are more appropriate topics for with this thread. ;}

ya shit man, get it on your damn cell phone for all we care… as long as the picture is clear…

Nearly every cell phone today has a camera built into it. There is no way you couldn’t get a video of you benching.

This is T-Nation, claims like that may stand on sites like BB.com, but not here.

Post your shit man!

I’m reserving judgment until I see it, but the fact that you won’t post a video because you can’t access a camera is HIGHLY suspect.

yes video!

you are 17 or 18 6ft 2 and weigh 200 pounds and bench 430lbs. man you are as strong as arnold Schwarzenegger and Dave Draper were.

not quite

Most phones have a video camera now a days… can’t be that hard to get a video of that bench.

why does it say there is a video on this thread?

I dont see any videos?

EDIT: never mind, I’m crazy.
