Ya, the weight got a little in front of you, but not bad, it was a solid lift. Just make sure next time it’s hot chick’s ass on the side of the frame and not brotard’s.

I like that expression, it sums it up perfectly.
Don’t you think that when you lose it forward a bit, it feels alot more noticeable than it looks on film?
Might’a got in front of you, but looked solid on “film.”
I liked those squats. You made the lift despite the issue, so yeah!
Sadly, I have to agree with Jack on the brotard situation.

Yep, I thought I was about to have to dump that and on video it looked like I was the tinest bit over.
So today I was the PT, which I was not looking forward to and at first it was exactly like I thought. I know I’m not in the best of shape but I looked like Adonis in that place. Still I think this guys knows something and according to him I have minor mechanical imbalances and that my hamstrongs are as tighter than a Scottsmans wallet.
I gotta be more flexible.
Over the ski’s… brotards with those funny shoes… Still some damn good reps. What is th PT’s perscription for flexabilty besides lots of stretching?
It’s funny, but light, butt-on-the-floor squats will train hamstring flexibility quicker than stretching. Same for reverse lunges off a box.

Hhmmmm I’m going to give those things a shot. I’ll try anything once.

Nice looking lift.
Was the brotard (love that word!) wearing straps for a ~150lb set of 5 (bad) rows?!?

I am of the firm belief that static stretching of the hamstrings will not increase flexibility and is actually counterproductive unless you can get the muscle to relax when you are pulling on it–and there is a way to do this that takes some practice–but that active mobility drills and exercises like DCA suggested are much more effective to increase flexibility and mobility. That’s my .02 cents.
overhead squats loosen everything up. i do them as part of my warm up for squat and dl days.
Yeah I really need to hit the OH squats, my lack of ocordination does not serve me well on those.
