I had high hopes for the 375 but environmental factors distracted me and my form went south so I just let it go for another day.
16x245??? I assume thats a typo. All your lifts are looking strong Joe. Whats your BW at these days?
No that 16 is correct, right now I’m about 192-193 or so.
It just seamed so out of place in that progression. 5,5,16,1,1,0,5,5 was there a reason for that set or did you get distracted and forget to stop lifting.
Why do 16 DLs? You outta apply for membership in the reppers’ club over in the PW compound. There’s lot of females over there who just live to rep away.

Snap, when i decided to learn to pull Sumo I reset my 5/3/1 numbers conservatively low so I could learn the movement. In 5/3/1 you do your “money set” for an many as you can leaving 1-2 in the tank. So I think I set my maxes too low even being conservative.
Oh, I know all about the money set. I was just messing with you. I could never do 5/3/1. I just don’t enjoy repping and would stop as soon as I was allowed. Probably wouldn’t get any stronger as a result.
I had the same thought as Kimba: Hot women distracting you. Very sad it was something unpleasant. Interesting you mention this because I did some range of motion work at a local rec center tonight and found the quality of lifting really appalling. I sound like such a snob.

I have seen so much horrible stuff that I can now ignore most of it. It takes something epic to make me notice now.

I’m the same way. I have pretty much zero interest in what other people are doing. Nothing I can do about it and it doesn’t affect me.

I always stop at 10 no matter what, especially on squats, I have enough problems getting pants to fit my thighs and ass without having 4 inches of material bunched under a belt around my waist, if I were to end up doing 20 rep squats and deads, my problems would be worse from the hypertrophy. Relatively speaking, its a good problem to have, I guess, but still annoying.

I am the opposite, hypertrophy isn’t seen around my parts.

Lol! PLer snobbery! You know somewhere between BBer and PLer are other types if athletes.
Anyways, for some reason 5/3/1 boggles my mind. Maybe its just an aversion to prime numbers.
Training looks sound Joe. Sorry for the less than stellar environmental distractions.

Wanna know a secrret? The main reason I do 5/3/1 is because the excel sheet makes it easy to follow.
