Good pressing, Joe. When’s your meet?

That 245 looked really easy for you. Are those wrist wraps you are wearing?

Middle of Feb., the 12th I think. Trying to decide on my openers now.

I should have done 255 or 265 but I try to be cautious when I don’t have a spotter. Yep, Inzers wrist wraps, they are considered raw in SPF.

that 245 WAS nice and smooth.

I’ll be stalking your vids for the next few months to get my dosage of sunshine.

I sort of effed up my arch or it would have been a lot faster coming off the bottom.

It turned cold here recently but this weekend it will be in the low 60’s for maybe the last time until spring.

Great bench, Joe. What everyone else said…it went up smooth and fast. No problems. You have a lot more in there.

You can wait a bit before you pick openers. You still have two months of training time.

I believe wrist wraps are considered raw in every fed.

Mostly I worried about making an enormous ass of my self.

In SPF I think wrait and knee wraps and a belt is raw. I’ve never used knee wraps before, but I do have some light weight sleeves.

I always worry about looking like an ass. Especially because I’m very sensitive about how [relatively] little I lift.

Well, knee wraps will give you a definite gain if they’re considered raw in your fed. They’re not in my fed. But I get some decent poundage outta them when I lift geared.

This is going to sound stupid but assuming I can get some wraps, exactly how do you wrap them if you don’t mind my asking.

I have to admit that I’ve never wrapped myself. Some virile male always volunteers. Although PMPM unwrapped me coming off the platform last March. Nice girl that she is.

I have been working on not worrying about the arch so much as trying to really feel the weight on my traps as opposed to my lats. If I do that, the arch and tightness seem to take care of themselves. Its only in the last few weeks that I have felt like my bench form has improved a bit, I think before even with an arch the weight was still on my lats. With your dip strength, I bet you would get a big boost from just changing the line of force a bit.

Your bench video reminded me of a theory I have. Is there a very fine line in your lifts between weights that go up quickly and weights that won’t go up at all? This has something to do with your speed in the sprints.

You are right in that I’ve never felt the weight on my traps any sugestions on how to shit the balance?
