I Have a Better Routine Now

Why anyone would doubt his reccomendations and accuse the routine as being shite.

leon, I didn’t say that anything was shit. I said that the placements of the exercises were odd. Maybe I’ll be more specific and say that I have never seen anything like that before.

For a beginner, I think that benching, MP, BO rows and squats on the same day are not a good idea but you say you’ve lifted for 16 years and you think that your program is great so hey, more power to you.

But the bodies of the peple in actual b’builder mags look like horrid freaks to me (cutler, coleman et al) and I prefer the physiques in Men’s Fitness or Men’s Health.

You realize those models are freakin’ huge by their own right don’t you? Even if you’re goal is to look like Cutler, after 5 years of spot on training and dieting MIGHT get you to the size of one of those guys, but probably not. Trying to convince yourself otherwise is naive.

Fitness model

Brad Pitt

OP, the difference between the two is not just “a bit” of bulk. You fail.

I’ll go for Brad Pitt, but with some added lats. That would be my ideal. He actually only trained arms shoulders, abs and chest for that movie, I read about it online.

I know the fitness mag guys are in freaking aweseme shape, jeez.

Anyway the upper / lower split is fucking killer.

I’m starting at scratch. 3 months of 3 x 10 full bod - mon / wed / fri. Then might do 6 weeks of GVT just to mix it up and then try the upper / lower again.

And no I wouldn’t do the same exercises in same order each time. I thought simple shit like that went without saying.

And Squat bench and row on same day is so common for full bod workout I KNOW you fucks are trolling.
