Kevin- Thank you! the program isnt that bad; its hard but it definitely got my ass back in gear…
refresh Day
Usual warmup
Than a big rolling set for 20 minutes of going from thing tp thing…rack pulls to 315, MPs bar only, one arm BB curls, Z press ( I didn’t want Strick to have all the fun by himself), squats bar only, incline paused reps 135, OH squats, rev curls, Z presses again, one arm curls again, neutral chins 7, bat wings 20s, dips 12, goblets with 35’s swings with 35, done!
So I experimented with Z presses and One arm BB curls… a little concerned with low back compression sitting on the floor with weight overhead, one arm curls gave me an instant pump…and the goat don’t pump!! Damn Mrs Goat is still asleep no one to show off to as I don’t think the dogs really care…
Tomorrow is Day 13 my final shot at 50 /135…more later…
Peace…
weight : 180 I am a massive man… he laughs as he braces himself against a 10mph gust of wind!!

Nice work!
I had a similar “issue” with the Z presses. Instead of putting my legs out, straight and together, I put them out at slight angles. It took some of the side to side out of it, but seemed to lessen the pressure on my back. Just a thought.
Strick- I do that next time…thanks…do you use a belt for support at all while doing them? I just used the bar today and could feel the difference in my shoulders…Interesting!
Nope. No belt. I think that is part of the idea…to make the core work harder. I think the different feel in the shoulder is from a) it forcing a stricter form and b) part of the stabilization is transferred to the shoulders.
Best I can tell, my Z press max is about 50# less than my MP max.
