Getting back after it. Been in the gym the past few days doing a deloadish type workout to get primed for the next cyle of 6/4/2. Plan on starting Aug 1st. Did a little Sammy slosh pipe work yesterday. One of my brothers was visiting from FLA so I treated him to the “experience”. Just did 2x75 yard zercher and an overhead hold for 60 seconds…His daughter never laughed so hard watching her pops struggle with the anaconda!

I am ready to start the next cycle. feeling a little sore and tired but I need to get to my ass in gear! Doing 6/4/2 plus 100 band resisted push-ups per day for August. Looking forward to being back on a regular schedule and following everyone’s exploits!

I’m sure I missed something but did you come up with the 6/4/2 idea. What a great idea. Even a 7/5/3 or some other type of twist would totally change things. Very cool. How did you ajust the % of max? Lower it 5% for every rep added?
ECO-I think it was Pete who was joking on someone’s thread about not doing 5/3/1 and doing 6/4/2. It made me laugh and then I said ah, what the hell…and I thought a few cycles of 6/4/2 and then like you mentioned, moving to 7/5/3. I did drop max an additional 5% or so for the additional reps. Now if I only knew how to change my thread title?
