Cardio… I am sure there is a level of Hell filled with treadmills, bikes, stair climbers, elipticals, etc…
Good job sticking with it.

And that’s where we will all be…rolling our eyes at those that don’t know any better. As much as we all need cardio…I probably more than others in the winter…I like to EAT…I also know it’s not the end all be all of staving off bodyfat increases.
Couldn’t hit the gym Thursday morning due to a very early conf call so I went in last night.
Cycle 4 week3 BP day
205x5, 230x3, 255,x5 ( really wanted 6 but my bench technique has gone completely to hell. I think if you did a computer analysis, not one of the 5 reps would have tracked the same and body got way to loooooose like a weeble wobbling) but its the same reps as last cycle with 5 more lbs so book it, Dano.
CGBP
4x10x185
alternated with
Neutral grip Pull-ups
9,7,6,5,5,4
I read the article about deadlift grip on the home page so I gave it a try to see what weights would be like.
SO i used a Fat Bar to do Rack pulls from the knee and it went like this
185x10, 195x10, 205x7, 225x3x2. forearms and hands definitely tired and achy this AM. Think I will incorporate this some how as I need grip help.
Peace

Thats some good training OG, nothing to be ashamed about there
Cycle 4 week 3 Squat day
Brutal getting back into the gym 10 hours after BP…I was not the Energizer Bunny more like goat crap!
I just put weight on that I felt comfortable with and stayed in the rep scheme.
215x5, 230x3, 245x4 (15 inch box) nothing to report. Just couldn’t muster any steam or focus.
Inclince Leg Press
4x10x5plates per side.
GM’s
3x10x115, 2x8x125
12 minutes bike hills…thank god this week is over…now its deload week followed by some 1 rep max tests to see what 4 months of 5/3/1 has done to a goat. then on to Cycle 5…
Peace
Nice work, Old Goat. Bench is looking good! CGB looks really strong.
Squat days are hard enough as it is. When the energy isn’t there, though, they can be difficult at best. Good job working through it.
MPs and DEAD deload…trying to think of something to add so its not the worlds worst post…nope, nothing…a delaod it is. Shoveling snow was more interesting.
I will start posting again when the work starts until then …I am hanging out the “gone deloading” sign.
Peace
AAAHHHH the dreaded deload… enjoy that. Glad we only got rain and wind… Well to speak of
I’m right there with you. Fortunately, the wife’s honey-dos are keeping me busy.
JW and Strick and because I am glutten for punishment I decided that when the tin of Skoal was empty; no more for awhile. The tin was empty Friday night so I go into deload trying to curb a life long habit…good planning!!
Did abs and cardio this AM…nothing noteworthy. Starting to think about what my progressions should be for my 1RM tests next week…
Peace
WOW, Deload, Christmas, and kicking Skoal. You are one tough minded sombitch!
Good luck with kicking the Skoal! That’s a tough one, but it would be a great present to yourself.
Good luck kicking th habit, OldGoat. It is a tough one…and I am still working at it.
Getting my well wishes in early, as tomorrow promises to be chaotic. Merry Christmas to you and the family!

Merry Christmas to you and the family. Get some jeans for christmas so you’ll have some without a ring on the back pocket after you kick the habit.
Merry Christmas, OG!
