I Finally Stopped Getting Out of the Way

I want people to start doing audio uploads when they get called on bragging about their lifts or alleged hawt Canadian girlfriend and are told to post pics…I can just hear it…“So…this is in response to everyone saying I don’t…um…cart wheel curl 75 lb d-bells with a 15 inch arm…um…I’m measuring my arm right now while curling 75 lbers and it is…um…let’s see…okay 15.32 inches…yup…so…that’s that…last audio I’m going to post for a while…”

OR LIKE WILLIAM FOSTER

This is one of my favorite movies ever. I even went out and bought a pair of glasses just like his, although I don’t really look good in them. I would often fantasize about doing something similar like this, but then reality smacks me in the face.
Great movie no doubt-one of my favorites. He makes Clark Griswold in Christmas Vacation look like a pussy. I’m sorry to say, minus the duffle bag full of guns, I’ve had a moment like this at a mcdonalds. After a defeat on the pitch in scotland, when I asked the waitress for the 2 cheeseburger value meal with no cheese. She asked repeatedly very confused and bitchy, ‘would you like the hamburger value meal or two cheeseburgers without cheese value meal.’ I snapped and said, 'it’s the same !@#$% thing. just put a patty on a roll, wrap it up in a hamburger wrapper, a cheeseburger wrapper, I don’t give a !@#$. I just want two burgers!

Just in time for my fiance to witness. Her response - classic - ‘im sorry. they lost the match a few hours ago.’ I left, opened the wrapper and one roll had no patty at all (which my fiance thought was hilarious). I guess it serves me right for being a dick. Maybe I should have had the duffle bag full of guns

Wow… I just logged after a day at work and found my video. Kerley’s too.

Kerley, we are chosen ones. I feel quite honored to have a video like that made for me. Don’t you?

If you don’t and feel afraid and need a hug, I can understand…but unfortunately oceans separate us. Yet, those same oceans also protect us…don’t they?

Anybody? Anybody at all?

LOLOLOLOLOLO:

You think I’m a thief? Oh, you see, I’m not the thief. I’m not the one charging 85 cents for a stinking soda! You’re the thief. I’m just standing up for my rights as a consumer.

I have never seen this movie. I feel like I am missing out.

Celtics sounds like he’s about to try to phonesex Nards.

it could of been because I was wearing a Jet Jersey.
I think I just found my soul mate. Swoon

lol, I went to see the jets first rnd playoff game this year in Cincy, I really had an awesome time, mostly all the people there were pretty cool, the girls were very friendly. Of course we had to be sitting next to some of the angriest fans, they seem to be pissed because the guy who we bought the seats from (on craigslist) always sells his tickets to people from different cities.

75% of the stuff was pretty funny, at times they went overboard and it could of gotten bad, fortunately there were these other fans that forwarned us about these guys that they will do everything in their power to get us kicked out, all in all I really liked Cincy, now buffalo, those guys up there are nuts!

^Please be gentle with me.

ill try

This is an awesome thread. For 2 reasons.

Firstly because I’ve worked in that same area for 2 years (80 broad street 2 blocks from NYSE) and I know exactly what you go through. I’ve been to alot of US cities and none compare to NYC when it comes to amount of foot traffic and rudeness of said people. Walking from Port Authority down 8th ave is just as bad, especially in the rain with all those umbrellas poking you. I say well done to you.

Second because the audio responses were awesome. The fact he dubbed the 1st one over his progress picture was pure genius. I bet he carries that shit in his wallet.

…and it was sweet!

So…I am usually the type of person to give strangers their space and the respect I would like. Espescially when going to work. I work in downtown manhattan which is a real rat race, usually on my way to my mind numbing job, I dodge umbrellas, speeding women, strollers, cell phone talkers…and you get the point.

It seems like I am always walking sideways. Im not the smallest guy in the world so I dont want to plow into someone, I dont want to be an asshole, yet somehow I always seem to be making the first move to get out of the way.

Yesterday, was a tremendously shitty day in NYC rainy and windy, umbrellas were jacking me, and as usual here I am trying to be courteuous, this one middle - aged corporate type guy, as I was trying to get out of the way FUCKING plowed into me, actually caught me off guard, and as usual he sped away. I stopped, thought about confronting him and thought better of it, cuz Im not 20 Im 34. But I did tell myself if I saw him again I was gonna hip check him like I was Darius Kasparitus!

I got my wish…Chambers street and Broadway, perfect timing. He was looking down seemingly unaware of what was coming, his brooks brothers suit was staring at me and coming closer, I sped up like Chris Johnson hitting a hole…BAMMMMMM I FUCKING FLOORED HIM! ASS FIRST! LOOKED DOWN AND SAID THATS FOR YESTERDAY, SHOW SOME RESPECT! (he didnt say a word)…IT FELT GOOD TO TAKE THE LOW ROAD FOR ONCE!

Now I will go back to avoiding people and being the courteous person that I have become, but it felt good to give some fucktard what he had coming.

99% of people are just low animals anyway. The law of Large Numbers is on your side.

But I’m polite more for myself than for the animals. I’m better than them because courtesy is outside their consciousness.
