Interesting that you still haven’t answered the question about how much you deadlift and front squat.
At least you’ve got that 1200 pound concentric leg press though.

You’re wasting time that you could be using to make bigger gainz, brah!
Also interesting that you offer an opinion on what gets people big and strong, when there are actual big and strong people posting in this thread who have different opinions on the best way to achieve that goal.
I’m so glad we have access to expert opinions like yours. Before the internet people had to just try stuff and figure out what worked.
I just made a serious response in the HIT thread… then saw this.
What kind of silliness is going on in here?
There sure are a lot of professional athletes who will be happy to know they can skip their warmup.
If I press the elevator button repeatedly until the elevator comes, what’s wrong with that? I could just press it once, but there’s no harm in pressing it more.
If you like doing those things to feel ready, do them. But they aren’t necessary and aren’t what stimulates significant muscle adaptation.
There is no point in you continuing to discuss your knowledge of “muscle stimulation” until you provide some tangible evidence that you have achieved something worth emulating. Physique, strength, something.
Anonymous internet silliness I think. We call it goblining where I’m from.
We’re gonna need a controlled study where one group of mountain lions warms up first. @ActivitiesGuy will be able to tell us how many mountain lions will be required.
So neurological stimulation through dynamic warm up is useless?
What if I stay mainly in the 50-60% max range, focusing on acceleration and bar speed?
Email Harvard and tell them that this article is wrong pls for the sake of humanity pls stop evil Harvard
but how will we blind the mountain lions to their treatment assignment?
I’m almost ashamed of myself. For the naivete among other things!
0 pukes lol
I only puke when I warm up with 5lb tricep extensions
Lmao
I’ve been doing strength training for 2 years. I am not an Arnold Schwarzenegger in terms of physique or an Eddie Hall in terms of strength. But I have a fascination with exercise literature. I follow a HIT protocol inspired by Ellington Darden and Dorian Yates. And bottom line, warming up is not necessary. Like I said in the first post, I make progress in my performance. That’s what matters to me. I may not be able to deadlift 600lbs yet. I can do 410, and making progress by just hitting it.
I can’t read the article. It’s log in or purchase required. Are you just making an appeal to authority?
Man, youre gonna be hurting pretty bad a year or two down the road.
You want to bet?
Sure, give me your name, address, social security number, bank routing info, and I can send you money directly when you win. Trust me, I am prince.
