Mmkay.
Lmao like everything under this category is an argument right now hahhaha
I genuinely want to see what can be accomplished using ARX and how that translates to a barbell (when we get the $40-$100 video).
no it doesn’t. it means that results speak for themselves. lol. you don’t seem to understand English very well.
not remotely likely. You said this is new technology. If it’s new technology, this isn’t how he built his physique. At best, it’s how he maintains his current physique. A much easier task than building.
dude literally EVERYONE is agreeing that your stupid machine does not require warmups. There’s no debate anymore.
Edited for clarity
That’s my interest in it too

Me: There’s this wall behind my house, and I push on it as hard as I can. It adjusts to this push, and doesn’t fall over. I fell in love the first time I tried it, because the proof is in the pudding. I don’t even warm up, I just go over to it and push on it really hard. You all should try it, because it’s a safe and effective way to workout.
Forum User: What type of results have you obtained? What’s the proof you are getting stronger?
Me: You should try it. I don’t even need to warm up. Tony Robbins implied that he likes it.
Forum User #2: But why should we try it? Where’s the proof that it produces any results?
Me: This particular wall is a great training tool. Don’t be a technophobe. I will post a video of me pushing on it really hard and you will see. Don’t judge a book by its cover, or pudding by its proof.
I know by the thread names or how long it’s been dead (until the random revival) that the same person is responsible for all of it.
He’s here to poke people and pick fights but I must say his thread is the most successful one I’ve seen in awhile.
the highlight of this thread for me so far has been the complete misunderstanding of “the proof is in the pudding.”
I would actually really like to try one of these stupid machines, though. Could you set it up just to tell you the max force you can generate? That could be fun, like, just straining as hard as you can against it and seeing how high you could get the numbers up.
i’ve tried them before. it’s not as entertaining as you might think, lol.
you obviously spent far too long warming up
i’ve legitimately never been so confident in the notion that an individual is not capable of a 400 lbs deadlift as I am right now. Such a strong feeling of certainty is overwhelming. I’m just taking in the moment.
Most of us want our gym strength to transfer to real life. If I do Lat Pull downs with bad form and use the whole stack but can’t pull myself up and over an 8 foot fence then I’ve failed.
If I can deadlift 405 for 20 reps but can’t push a wheelbarrow full of gravel then I’ve failed.
So how does ARX transfer?
“exercisemachina, Help! The car jack failed and I’m going to be crushed! Lift up on the car!”
exercisemachina: “I’m trying but it won’t let me control the speed of the concentric!”

I just cant bring myself to get actively involved in this thread.
Sounds like isometric training, an actual technique for resistance training

No, this is a new, state-of-the-art wall. It adjusts in real time to my exertion.
In all seriousness, I will paypal you 50 dollars if you can post a video of yourself deadlifting 400 lbs on a barbell.
I’ll send 20 bucks if you’ll show us a true max barbell deadlift, whatever it is.
I volunteer as tribute to both

one that doesn’t get results. I remember Christian Thibadeau playing with isometric training for awhile a few years back. maybe 6 or 7 years ago? He abandoned the idea, said it was one of the worst ones he’d had.
