I Do What I Want 2010

I don’t even know that I could walk out 225 anymore. Nice.

oh no deja! dentists bills! :{ god… but …well, yeah, i got no real condolence other then to empathize in the lameness :{

but nice squats! and those famous dl’s of course!!

deja, some nice dentists do payment plans. Maybe if you got your tears on in the office, they could help you out.

Bummer, though. That was a hard lesson to learn.

YEAH for getting in the squat rack and even walking out four plates. Nice job!

yah bobbi i haven’t done heavy walkouts in AGES. being a folder… i think i definitely need to do them more often. i think my body needs to spend more time under heavy weight and tends to benefit when it does.

hi brute! yah no bueno on dentists takin my money! lol

they will do a payment plan, no problem. but you get 5.5% off for paying cash up front so i’ve done that for the first two appointments (about $1500) so that saved me almost a hundred bucks.

but i’m definitely gonna have to use it on this next one. it just blows thinking that that money could be used towards traveling around trying to find a job and first month rent somewhere. but oh well. nothing i can do but pay the price. =+)

That does suck… :headpat:

Hope thats the last the bad news…at least for awhile, right?

amen. i could use a few breaks. =+)

was supposed to have an upper workout tomorrow… but since i’m gonna be super swamped i decided to just bang it out tonight.

workout:

military press: 55 x 8; 75 x 6; 85 x 5, 5, 5
military press: 60 x 12, 11
chinups: bw x 7, 6; + 10 lbs x 4, 3
bb bent row: 95 x 12, 12
bunch of lateral and front raises

can barely lift my arms now. and i have to go scoop and hang 50 lbs of chevre. that should be fun! lol

freakin scivation changed their whey. it mixes like shit now. but i guess the taste is a little better. not like i give two shits… as long as it’s pretty good i care way more about the consistency/mixability. damn.

Move to SD and lift w us

i freakin LOVE san diego. i’d live there in a heartbeat if it wasn’t so damn expensive. i went to sdsu for my first year of college. fun times for sure!

I’d help you with the chevre except I’d end up eating it. cheeeeezze.

I want your military press pout

Did my first post show? I don’t see it :frowning:

workout:

deadlift: 135 x 8; 185 x 5; 225 x 3; 250 x 1; 270 x 1
deadlift: 185 x 10, 10
bench press: 55 x 10; 85 x 6; 110 x 2; 135 x 1
bench press: 105 x 10; 85 x 10

short and sweet.

omg the pull at 270 felt SOOOO heavy and came up so slow. guess that’s what happens when you don’t deadlift seriously for a year. lol

i flipped back in my workout log and last year at this time i was pulling 300 for 5 reps. doh!

so my focus this month is just on consistently and progressively hitting the weights.

i’m not having any alcohol until halloween, so in the meantime i’m not going to be super focused on my nutrition. i’ll have a little junk and just try to eat lots of meat, fruits and veggies, and not do any binging or ever get really stuffed. i’m doing so well at that nowadays. fuck getting stuffed. /lesbo joke

then next month i’ll start to lock down the nutrition pretty hardcore and hopefully end the year in a hella good place.

270 for 1 after not really pulling for a good long while is AWESOME! I predict you hit 300 again really soon. Trading the booze for the Halloween candy?

Deja made a funny

good work on the not drinking! I’m aiming for moderate on the weekends - a glass or two. for someone who can down a couple of bottles a week, it’s still a challenge.

really? lol

Hey deja!

Great stuff going on in here!

Congrats on getting in a better head space and working out your priorities - no boozing and binging sounds challenging, but I know you can do it! Halloween is going to be A LOT of fun for you, that’s for sure!

Great goals mama - again, there’s no doubt you’ll hit all that before you turn the big 30.

Oh, and I covet your DL and Squat and chinups bitch

ps. I just LOVE military and service peeps, especially sailors…just sayin’

hey girl!

yah halloween should be sweet if i find something fun to do. i really should head up to san fran or down to west hollywood… but i don’t know if i’ll have the funds or an invite somewhere fun. definitely not around here. blegh. i already made sure i don’t have to work so even if i just lock myself in my house and drink all day i’ll be happy. haha i haven’t had a day off all year except for days i was in europe and montana. i’m in MAJOR need of a couple serious days off.

the bw military press will be DAMN hard but the rest should be fairly doable. i still need to come up with times on the runs. i’ll probably start focusing on running more after the new year.

got in a good session of foam rolling and mobility work last night.

made it through a monday night fooball shindig without touching the booze or the buds. it wasn’t easy. =+)

Buds???
