Thanks a lot guys. You rock, and I’ll definitely update you on my progress as I make gains.
I’ve decided to leave the training alone for a couple of weeks- I have some bills to take care of, and won’t really be able to afford enough food to make progress until my next paycheck.
Here’s another thing I’ve wondered about for a long time: There’s enough quality information on this website alone to write several books about how to optimize your diet for muscular performance and hypertrophy… but what about your brain? We all know the CNS has a huge impact on performance… so what do I eat to feed my brain?
EAT Pussy!
It calms the CNS and puts it in a perfect state for hypertrophy-specific training.

I did not know that. I’ve always said… I wouldn’t have sex if it wasn’t for the awesome core workout, and I wouldn’t drink beer if it wasn’t so damn calorie-dense.
Okay, so I just started saying that. But seriously, what can I eat?

Reading that much sensibility from a 17 year-old brings a tear to my eye.
I wish I was that smart when I was 17…
I was still picking my nose and flingin boogers at that age. Oh yeah, and eating my next door neighbors pussy. That’s why I have such spectacular CNS recovery. I aided the recovery process from doing tongue curls with the weight of a clitoris. Stay away from those heavy weights and avoid CNS shutdown. Keep your tongue active and your CNS will stay in an active state. To avoid shutdown… simple… eat the putnanny.
These don’t go hand in hand. Trust me it’s one or the other.
My brother is pretty effing big (been lifting heavy since he was 12, he’s now early 40s), probably bigger than a lot of the guys on this site, and he spent 20 years in SF. Where are you getting your data?
I’m not saying a SF operator can’t have some good size but his original post talked about being a monster. No matter what branch you go into NAVY, ARMY, Airforce you can bet all their special ops programs have serious food deprivation phases coupled with intense endurance activity which equals the worst possible environment to build size and strength. Speaking from personal experience I tried to get to BUDS and was told by several SEAL motivators that size isn’t going to save your ass in combat. They want men who are quick, agile, and can preform for days under grueling circumstances in extreme environments without worring about missing meals. Again I’m not saying that someone couldn’t weigh 210 or 220 with low BF but from what it sounded like in his post he wants to get a lot bigger than that.

Thanks for backing up your post, sorry for being a dick. I couldn’t tell from your post if you were just making assumptions.
No one has answered my question yet, though, and I have this sneaking suspicion that it’s because nobody knows.

Evansmi: Well, I can handle being skinny for a few years, and like I said, I’m no stranger to BW; I was doing between 600-1000 pushups 6 days a week last year**
In the meantime, I’m going to get big and strong.
**e-penis warning
I’m not saying that its too hard to do all those BW exercises, or that its too hard to run 10 miles, and if you did all that good for you, it was fun, wasn’t it. but notice you said “i’m going to get big”, hence, you weren’t big whilst doing all of that.
I’m not even saying one is better than the other, its just that military style fitness and bodybuilder style fitness are two sepereate ends of a spectrum.
I’ve only been in the military for a little while so far but i am yet to meet an SF or Ranger who was 200 or more. Its just too much cardio to gain on.
I’m not trying to crush your dreams here, get big, have fun doing it, but just no once you try out for SF your gonna run at least 10 miles a day and your gonna be starved and sleep deprived. If somewhere down the line you chose to try out, be prepared to lose alot of your weight. But until then, go get hyoooooooge!
