I Almost Pass Out... Every Time

It’s a light headed dizziness. I’m not looking for anyone to cure a disease, the advise I got so far was what I was looking for.

And don’t think about supplements each time you have a “problem”. I’m referring to the NO2 you mentioned.

Sounds like low blood sugar. I have a client who has trained with me for a year now and just recently has he been diagnosed with hypoglycemia.

4 sets of legs without carbs in him and he is done…either nausea, headache, or about to pass out.

He has to eat a good meal prior to and sip on gatorade during the workout.

I guess I didn’t word it how I should have. I was thinking something like recovery or a protein isolate during the workout

excess vagal nerve stimulation, or possibly baroreceptor stimulation in your circulatory system, both due to excess straining.

have you ever done space monkeys, because it’s kind of like that.

well ya, but I was thinking it would be more complicated than that.

Just curious, why would you breath OUT going down in your squat?

I wonder this, too. Unless you mis-typed, or I mis-understand, this isn’t a safe breathing pattern for a squat as I understand it.

I’m not a doc, and I know just enough about training to avoid the more asinine errors in exercise selection and performance that one sees in a gym – also, I know nothing about you or how you train – but the obvious possible culprits have been mentioned already:

  1. Some medical condition. (Have you had this problem before? Or just now, after a layoff from heavy compounds?)

  2. Not fueling properly.

  3. Exercise performance.

  4. You’re out-of-shape.

  5. Some combination of the above.

I am almost positive that, whatever the problem is, NoXPlode isn’t the answer. If you suspect a medical condition, see a doc. Otherwise, trying getting more calories before and during, have someone who knows what they’re doing check your exercise performance, and make sure (whether it’s fun or not) that you can take a few flights of stairs without getting winded.

Oh – something that (I think) wasn’t mentioned: hydration. If you’re dehydrated, it’s easy to feel weak – even lightheaded – during exercise.

Also, I have no fucking idea what a space monkey is. I know what sea monkeys are. From the sound of it, though, I’d suggest abstaining from space monkeys before squatting, especially if you’re breathing out on the way down.

I’m sure it’s a combo of being out of shape, cardio is not my friend, and not staying hydrated.

Thanks for the advice
