Well I got my test levels back up to a normal range. I went from 190 to 610.
However my TSH levels were still elevated and my doctor said I was hypothyroid. My T-3 and T-4 levels were normal when I had my first blood work done 3 years ago.
I will say it has been a real battle to lose body fat over the past several years.
Doc put me on armour thyroid, but I was wondering if I could take something to get my thyroid back working correctly and not be dependent upon thyroid med the rest of my life.
We all have a life long dependency on iodine. Are you getting enough?
Give the Armour a try. If you feel a lot better, that is a better diagnostic result than lab tests. Then you can go from there. If you are hypo, fixing that might improve your T levels.
The Armour natural throid is good stuff. If you have trouble getting more there is a Nature-throid, or Westhroid by RLC labs. Many sources are having trouble keeping up with supply, due to FDA meddling. Also available from Women’s International Pharmacy has a dessicated thyroid. 800 279 5708 orwomensinternational.com.
