This was a fun program but very tuff in some ways. I have a new respect for a program like this as its like a cardio/weight program in 1. The longer it gets the more you really hit your body as far as fatigue. I’ve made some good gains in str over all. I’ll try to max out next week and see what I can do…
The squats… ug at 8 minutes your really sucking wind… and i mean sucking wind.
The leg extentions again… first one isn’t bad, but the second set of 30 really gets you…
The leg curls really finish you off… by that third set of fatigues I get to the point where I can do 1/2 reps but can’t get a full rep out… if I dropped the weight I could do more but i’d rather move up ![]()
Overall a good program, very demanding. Hard to belive I put in all the time required for it but glad to be finished. Maybe down the road i’ll try it again and increase the weight on it.

I’ll measure my legs on Saturday (weigh in/body fat test/measure) and see what we got. Probably Monday morning I’ll go in and try to max out. I will say i’ve gained a ton of endurance though.
Here is some #'s for those who like those things:
Workout #2 (2:20 mins @ 135 lbs) 46 reps
Moved 6,210lbs of weight in that time via squat
Moved 600lbs in Leg Ext
Moved 1,080lbs in leg curls
Last workout (8 mins @ 135lbs) 117 Reps
Moved 15,795lbs of weight in squats straight
Moved 3,300lbs in Leg Ext
Moved 2,290lbs in leg curls
So I saw some good # increases. Doing the program I really saw some great number increases in my leg Ext and my leg curls even after adding more time in the squat rack.
Alright here are my results from doing the program. Sorry it took so long, jacked my knee into a pole the monday after I finished and had to take a few days off to let it heal as it was pretty ugly looking.
Overall I gained maybe 1/4-1/2 an inch on both legs. I’d say its probably 1/4th but I can’t find my old tape measure and have to use a different one.
I max squatted and can do 400 with difficulty, but 405 after 400 was too much… so its a 15lb gain after 8 weeks of lifting.
That said I have noticed a better ‘cardio’ results from the program but as far as the massive size and huge strength increase, this program won’t do it IMHO. I don’t fatigue as much while squating or moving from leg to leg exercise, but my str gains were not what I was hoping for.
I’ll be going back to a 5x5 or something else for a bit to work on some heavier lifting.

Although your max didn’t go up a whole lot, I’m willing to bet that because of these 8 weeks that it’s going to fly up once you start focusing more on strength.
Yeah I think so. I did some running last night and I felt really strong/light on my feet too. I’ve got 2 weeks left that I can really lift before my combine competition so i’ll put in probably 2 good split weeks to try and get a little more strength in while keeping up the running and leg work.
I won’t complain, but just wished I might have seen more str growth ![]()

Also, I feel like an increase in max strength after training at your 30% for 8 weeks (right?) is quite an accomplishment. I am sure that when you focus on strength again, you’ll break some new records fast. Keep us updated!

I put on about 3-4lbs during the entire 8 week program but I also did upper body/core.
As far as an increase in str, I think i should see some good gains over the next month or two doing a 5x5 or something close to that because I don’t tire as easily now when squating. So i built up alot of endurance.
I’ll update this probably in 2 months after doing a 5x5 program (squats/dl)
