HUMAPRO Question

Just purchased some solely because bug, ebomb, way, doh, etc. approve of it (lol im ghey)

anyways…

If i am wanting to replace ALL of my protein intake (both solid and fluid) with humapro, i will need roughly 40 grams correct? (I weigh 200 pounds at 5’9)

This of course will leave me with a rather MASSIVE calorie deficit (between 1000-1200 depending on the day), increasing the already substantial deficit I am in (currently leaning out)

so my question is, do I simply add more carbs and fats to my diet?

My 2 carb sources are brown rice, and oatmeal (oatmeal is rapidly taking over because it tastes better and cooks faster, and is cheaper)

and my fats are evoo, coconut oil, krill oil, and fish oil.

so say my “high day” breakdown currently looks like this

250 grams protein
500 grams carbs
no extra fat

replacing all the protein with Humapro would effectively remove ~960 calories

would I increase my carb intake, as well as my fat intake for that day? because I would basically be left with 2000 calories from carbs, and whatever trace amounts of fats and proteins that I get from those carbs sources.

Thanks for reading, this post is probably a bit lengthy, but I feel that this supplement has not gotten enough press for how good is supposedly is.

I use humapro myself, but don’t think you would be wise to replace ALL of your protein powders with it. Just saying.

Agree x20 with H4M, especially if you’re gaining.

Just eat eggs, beefs, and shit like that that has protein as well as fats and probably sub about half your protein with HP.

thanks for posting

im trying to lean out. ill probably do what u suggested

also, what have you guys noticed by including it in your diet/nutrition regimens?

No reason to completely take out other sources of protein. Just rely on the fact that humapro has almost no calories, so you can decrease cals by gradually swapping in other protein sources for humapro.

I definitely see your point. Thanks for the feedback!

i am only going to be using it to replace half of my protein meals

so i keep my diet written down in excel, counting each calorie etc… etc…

i must say, the inclusion of humapro as a replacement for half of my protein meals per week puts me in a HUGE deficit…

wow… this should be interesting

thanks for the posts guys, please keep it up.

really hoping Bug,Way, Ebomb, DOh, Stu etc… will chime in

Lol search function man, there was a very recent thread with the same title as this one and several of those guys posted in there.

H4M, MeinHerz and myself all sip from the same creek of knowledge that Bug, Way, eBomb and DOH do, for the record.

Yeah, there’s really not much to it, don’t over think it. If you’re dieting I would tend to allow fats to stay a bit higher than the carbs on most days, but then have 1-2 higher carb days per week, or something like that.

As you get leaner, you should probably eventually be able to replace all protein with HumaPro to help allow you to make that “final push” for leanness. It definitely works.

If I were you, I’d probably start by training mostly fasted. Don’t eat for 2-4 hours+ before the workout, slam down a HumaPro shake before, BCAAs during, and a HumaPro shake after, and that should get you headed in the right direction quickly. Training mostly fasted will take a session or two to get use to, but you won’t even notice it after that point.

Ah, sorry in that case.

x2 on this. I was training on just BCAA’s prior to last week, at which point I added in the Humapro leading up to my workout. It was ok with just BCAA’s, now it feels great.

I’m personally running an IF plan, and adding 2-3 hits of Humapro within the fast window really seems to be doing good things for muscle fullness already. Hope your results with it are good as well.

No problem man. It’s really easy to make HP a lot more complicated than it needs to be, I’ve definitely been there.

Do, for whatever it’s worth, try to make sure to have your HP shakes 20 minutes before eating other foods and at least 2 hours after your last meal. Not required, but optimal for the body’s usage.

And, I’m tellin’ ya, give the “fasted” training a shot some time. A lot of guys have made the switch, and swear by it now. I promise, it pays dividends. If 3-4 sessions go by and nothing improves, I’d cut it, but I find that isn’t the case 99 times out of 100.

As Bigmac says above, you may actually notice positive results other than better leanness, including added pumps and fullness. Just my .02.

well thanks a lot to everyone who was helpful.

ill make sure to give my feedback on this compound when im done using it

Honestly I just add it to my regular foods…I’m not cutting or anything. Just trying to get a little extra something on top of what I’m already taking to get stronger and shit. I usually take it after meals, or before training.

u pullin’ 2000lbs yet? haha

Naw. After not sumo DLing for 7 months while I was deployed, I pulled 635 fast yesterday, and barely failed a 655. But I do think I’m set up to see relatively rapid gains in my DL in the next few months.
