I’m going through the HSS100 for chest and was hoping to have something similar for legs, but can’t seem to find it.
Genetically my upper legs seem to grow at a slow pace, but my calves seem to be opposite where I hardly need to train them and they’re still ok.
I was hoping for the HSS 100 for quads and hams. I know that there is the HSS program that covers all body parts but it is structured differently from the specific body part routines, which I seem to favor more.
I put my own together just becaue I have ostrich legs. Here’s what mine looked like:
Quads day:
Heavy- Front Squat 4x6
Superset- Leg Press 3x10
Reverse Lunges 3x8
Specific- Heels elevated Hack Squats 4x10
Leg press x 100
Hips/Hamstrings day:
Heavy- Deadlifts 4x6
Superset- Romanian Deadlift 3x10
Leg Curls 3x8
Specific- Single Leg back extensions 4x10
DB deadlifts x 100
Quads day 2:
Heavy- Squats 4x6
Superset- Lunges 3x10
Leg extensions 3x8
Specific- Decline Step up 4x10
Leg extensions x 100
I personally did calves on each day too because my calves are terrible. I also did one day of upper body pushing and one day of upper body pulling for 5 days a week. So something like this:
Mon- Quads day 1
Tue- Upper body push
Wed- Hamstrings
Thu-off
Fri- Quads day 3
Sat- Upper body pull
Sun- off
I also got really good results from doing EDT 4 days a week like this:
Day 1: Legs- 2 15 minute zones
Day2: Upper push 2 15 minute zones
Day 3: Legs 2 15 minute zones
Day 4: Upper pull 2 15 minute zones
Thibs didn’t do a HSS-100 program for the legs. I forgot the reason. But he did do a program called ‘The Skinny Legs Cure’ which is close enough. Also a little similar to what’s posted above.
