Here is a photo of my midsection today, day 2 of taking HRX. My camera is giving me fits so this is the best I could get.
I think it is a decent representation of where I am at. I actually have a bit more abdominal definition than in the photo, but as I said this is the best I could do.

I have kept detailed logs and can say without any hesitation that it works and works well. Using the exact same diet and exercise routine, the fat loss was 2x using HRX as opposed to using another product.
Wow, I’d like to hear more about this. What methods did you use to determine the effectiveness? At what bf% did you start at and where did you finish? And how long did you use the product for? Any details would be appreciated.
I am already one day behind on “Project HRX” as I went to take pictures last night only to find the battery in my camera was dead. So I am hoping to take some tonight and have them posted by Friday. Today is day 2 and so far I don’t have any of the side effects that some others have had. I did find that I brought a bit more intensity to my workout last night, but it’s hard to say if that is because of the HRX or if I am reenergized by the fact that I am starting this experiment and taking a suppliment that I hope will help me.
Stay tuned.
I judged the effectiveness using a tape measure around the thickest part of my midsection. On 10/21/2006 I was 91.5Kg and had a tape measurement of 96cm. The next week 90.25kg and 95cm and then 89.5kg and 94 cm using HRX and a t-dawg styled diet at about 85% of maintenance calories, Weights 4x/week U,L,U,L split and fasted morning walks 4-5 times/week.
The following two weeks everything the same but out of HRX and had the following measurements: 88.5Kg, 93.5cm and 88.7kg at 93cm.
Following two weeks I got more HRX and went back to losing at a pace of 1cm a week for the last two weeks of the diet. So as you can see, almost double the fat loss. One can argue that this is not a very precise way to measure fat loss, but I would argue that it shows a pattern.

I think you should take full pictures as well. Documenting solely the mid-section won’t show if you sacrificed a lot of muscle to show some abs.
I did take a couple of full upper body pictures but really don’t plan on sharing them in this thread because:
a) I’m not really interested in critiques on my physique and I’ve been here long enough to know that this thread could easily spiral off topic.
b) Biotest claims that HRX actually targets abdominal fat. In Tim Patterson’s post on the topic he even throws around the dangerous “spot reduction” term. As this is the area that I (and I think many people) are interested in reducing, this is really the focus of my experiment.
I will be happy to give my impression of what HRX has done in terms of overall leanness, but I don’t think I’m interested in posting those photos.
Red Elephant, although not “scientific” I think your method is legitimate. I’d be very happy with 1 cm a week. Your post is making me consider taking actual tape measurements. It would be simple enough and could confirm if we got similar results.
t-ha, never heard of a yohimbe topical and, to be honest, I’m a bit suspicious of the effectiveness of topical treatments. That being said, I did check out your profile and I believe you have made better progress than I have over the last 18 months, so if you want to tell me more about it, I’m all ears.
One thing to note is that you need to be losing fat anyway for it to work, so go on a cut & use a fat-burner at the same time.
Also, although I thought it was good, the effects are ‘subtle’. It’s most suited to someone who has everything else sorted out but has one stubborn area of fat that won’t shift.
It’s been a bit over 3 weeks since I started using HRX and I thought I’d give a quick update.
I think the product is pretty good and works to an extent. I’ve definitely seen some difference in my midsection (which was the area I was targeting) but have actually seen more leaness in my chest. The differences are noticable but subtle. If you are expecting some sort of miracle fat burner like they advertise on TV or in magazines then you are a bit dillusional. But I do feel like HRX is giving me a little something extra.
I did feel like my workouts were more intense on HRX but I don’t know if that was due to the suppliment itself or if I was more intent on doing the work.
No real side effects to report. Sleep has been normal. Only thing I will say is that when I take it on a completely empty stomach first thing in the morning I do get a bit of heartburn from it.
I will try to load more current pictures shortly. Also, I bought a second bottle at my local GNC which carries Biotest. It was on sale for $45 plus an additional 20% off. So I paid $36 for the bottle which is the best price I’ve seen.
