I have read all the posts I can find and they have been very informative. I started HRT yesterday 23 Mar 07. Doc is cool and all is well, except she is a once a week believer. I took the first shot of hcg and test cypionate at her office yesterday, so she could watch and teach me.
My question to switch to eod on test how long should I wait?
test cyp 200mg/ml dose 0.4ml
hcg 250 iu twice a week
she started me with indole-3-carbinol 200 mg cap daily instead of an AI, said if this doesn’t work we will switch to arimadex. She even offered hgh, at 700 dollars every 6 weeks it came down to feeding the kids and the shots.
Sorry to be a pain.
Basically you should wait until you die which is probably in a few days.

that took a lot of thought, proves cadets should be seen and not heard.

From the pages of a "Homo"quin Romance novel:
“As he settled his teabag upon my face, all I could see was a pink mist…”
At least now we know how he achieved his moniker.
I am not a doctor and this is not medical advice.
You can find profiles for test cyp at any of the steroid information sites.
Testosterone Cypionate is a single-ester, long-acting form of testosterone. A peak is noted after 24-48 hours of injection and then a slow decline, reaching a steady point after 12 days. It is generally gone after 3 weeks.
Indole-3-carbinol is converted by stomach acid to diindolymethane (DIM) and indole (3,2,b) carbazole (ICZ). DIM and ICZ have similar activities regarding estrogen metabolism.
So DIM promotes estrogen balance, but it is not an AI and you’ll have to monitor your blood and your body reactions to see if you need to add an AI to the mix.
The real take home message is that you’ll need to carefully monitor how you feel to know what’s working or not working for you. Some guys feel fine on once a week injections.
Some start to feel like they’re crashing a few days before the week is up. I’d recommend giving yourself a few weeks to see how the once a week goes. If you decide to switch to EOD, start when you would normally do the weekly injection, just make it the EOD dose and take it from there.
Good luck!
I appreciate the input and it makes sense to me. Thanks for the explanation on Dim.
