How's My Clean Bulking Nutrition?

below is my rough nutrtion plan. Im trying to clean bulk. I currently weigh 162 (up 8 lbs). Does this look like too much??

wakeup
1-protein
2-eggs/sausage burrito
3-protein
4-breaded chicken salad
5-protein
workout
6-GNC mass xxx
-creatine
7- chicken/ham sandwhich
8-protein
9-chicken/ham sandwhich
bed

p.s. Like I said Ive gained about 8 lbs but im still prety lean so I think its mostly muscle but Im just curious on what you all think about my pln. feel free to add, subtract and help my plan also.

thanks!!

In my mind that doesn’t describe clean bulking… Its cleaner than mine though… LOL

burrito = Tortilla
breaded = fried breaded carbs
Sandwich x2 = 4 pieces of bread

Try to take those carbs and get them in the form of something whole and natural.

It seems you have a lot of shakes too. Maybe cut a couple of those out and eat 2 more whole meals. Don’t forget some healthy fats.

thasnks for the help. I shop at whole foods so all of the bread is wheat, and the breaded chicken has no preservatives. and ya the tortilla isnt that great Ill admit but besides that they “should” be healthy. So all and all its a pretty clean bulk?

Ill try and add another meal or 2 thanks!

any others I would appreciate it!

Ham? I’m against ham. Pick any reason you want. Ham is not a good choice. Do you like tuna?

Where are you green veggies??? You have a very acidic diet there. That’s not good.

If you don’t balance alkaline with acid, your body will take calcium from your bones to keep your pH, and you don’t want that.

Christian Thibaudeau says he doesn’t even count green veggies in calorie counts anymore.

Also, fiber is going to be very important.

What are you bulking to? 145lbs? How many calories is that? I’d guess you are maybe getting 2500 calories/day on that plan. More calories, more veggies, and more water.

Okay, what’s wrong with ham?

Unless it’s overly processed I don’t see a problem with it, but this is the same as with any other meat.

I’d much rather have ham than canned tuna. Now if you’re talking tuna steak, I’d have to go with that.

ya I def. need to get in more veggies. and no Im going to bulk to about 175-180. Im currently 165, what foods would you suggest me to try and get in to add more cals. Im also adding baked potatos.

and I drink about a gallon and a half of water a day so Im good there!

thanks for the help again!!

That’s an interesting theory, but it’s far from proven or universally agreed upon. I think even TC has recently stated that he believes that our bodies are very adapt at managing pH regardless of one’s diet.

Vegetables are important for many other reasons, though.
