First off the fact that the age of consent in Italy happens to be 14 should send up a red flag in the morals dept., or at least it does for me.
A six year age difference is fairly significant, I am not one to tell you how to run your life but since you asked for opinions I will give mine: At this point in your life you are a man, and at this point in her life she is a girl(most likely). The likelihood that she will get hurt is fairly high, I am assuming you do not plan on living in Italy for a long period of time and this would be a fling. A fling with a young impressionalbe girl (possibly a virgin, possibly not) could actually be pretty harmful to her in the emotional dept. My advice would be to look but don’t touch, and I am fairly certain there are some dynamite 23yr olds in Italy. We all have to come to the realization at some point or another that we can no longer sleep with High School girls / teenagers. BTW I am 19 so I don’t have this problem as of yet, so nephrom if you could be so kind as to give this girl my digits I would appreciate it.

I was at this party last Friday (July 4th) in a pretty high-zoot neighborhood. Any way, the people who owned the place had a dughter who was parading around in a halter top and short (and I do mean SHORT) shorts. My eyes practically jumped out of their sockets. Then I hear some one mention she’s 15. FIFTEEN!! Some mix of feeling totally dirty and creeped out, and disappointment washed over me. As the day wore on, a lot of her friends joined the party, all between the ages of 14 and 17. All total knockouts.
So that age thing is half PLUS 7? This would have been half MINUS 5. Scary.
The dirties offers that I’ve ever received from a girl were from a 16 year old where I worked a couple of years ago (I was 21). They aren’t all innocent.
There’s no such thing as too young unless it gets you jail time! So check the laws in your state!

Most possibly Wrong! You forgot to factor in IQ, which (hopefully for you) will raise (or lower) actual probable maturity level. Lets say you have a rather bright babe (IQ=125).
So…
IQ/100 * (Half your age + 7)
125 / 100 * ((23 / 2) + 7)
1.25 * 18.5 = 23.125 years old
Assuming your 23, with an IQ of 100, your dead on!
Of course, revise your age with same parameters. =0)

doogie, what do you mean by “morally right”? Is there a “morally right” age at which girls can be slept with? While I can make an argument for many suggestions on this thread not being morally right, I would like to know what you’re referring to.
Nephorn go for it man your young, get the young good looking ones while you can and enjoy. Don’t look back years from now and regret not going for it with the hot girls, young and old. 17 to 23 is no big deal and if it’s legal and you want to, just do it.

There are of course exceptions to every rule, but I remember when I was in the 18-25 age bracket I couldn’t stand to be around girls that age. Give me a woman (25+) every time.

This is what’s called a NO BRAINER! The time to take advantage of situations like the one you have presented is growing smaller by the day. At 23 chicken hawkin a swweet sweeet 17 year old girl is just fine. Once you get to be about 25 you’ll want to knock that off, but now older women will want to bang wich is a whole other ball game, and so goes the circle of tang grasshopper. Who cares what you, I or anyone else thinks is morally right as girls are having sex at younger and younger ages these days. And many times, they are the ones initiating it or seeking it. I’m not going to argue what “morally” is right or wrong. It’s up to each individual to decide. Just because a 14-year-old girl hits on me, I’m not going to let it turn into something that could cause problems for myself or anyone else. That would be ridiculous and stupid.

Know what sucks? My girlfriend is 15 I am 16. I live in kansas, therefore, I can’t hit it.
Several points:
First, to Nate, the second quote is “Old enough to pee, old enough for me.” “Pee” rhymes, “breed” doesn’t. Get it straight, dude!
Second, the women (and men, for that matter) in most European countries have a much more enlightened attitude about sex than the people in North America. 17 over there means (a) almost certainly not a virgin (if she’s decent looking, anyway) and (b) she probably knows more about sex than most American guys do at 23. Bottom line: I wouldn’t worry about any “moral” issues.
But all of this avoids the real issue here on this thread, and I’m surprised no one has pointed it out yet…
