Ok, I met this girl last weekend. She was seemed really cool, she’s hot too. I talked to her for a while, and she ended up telling me that she’s only 17, and her father is a police officer. Today my buddy (her friend) told me that she wants to hook up with me (I don’t know if he means just sex, or girlfriend/boyfriend stuff). I just turned 21 in June, so that makes her 4 years younger, and “illegal”. The fact that her father is a police officer doesn’t excite me one bit either. What would you guys do? Just let it go, or take your chances?
17 just turned from 16? Or 17 almost 18? If she is almost 18 with a good head on her shoulders you should be cool. If she is 17 with issues that she wants to get even with big bad Dad for - you could end up stuck in the middle - or riding to work with Dad. IMO You just turned 21 so the age span ain’t so bad in reality. But you can not take her to bars, she will ask you to buy her friends drinks and you will be on ice until her 18th. Is it worth dude? Do you live in a rural place or what? Going to the club and finding another (older) chica would be another option… plus ever met a girl in her mid to late 20’s? Niiiiiice. Fewer issues and incredible sex drive. 
Are you in college? Is she? My brother once talked about dating a girl 1 year younger then him, but she was still in high school while he was in his freshman year. I talked him out of it because it makes a HUGE difference. Age doesn’t matter as much as where you are in life.
The thing you have to ask yourself, is this girl so damn special T-mag reader, I’m guessing your aren’t some hideous fat guy who can’t get anybody. So, when it comes down to it, is she really worth all of that? I have a felling not. Don’t chase something just because she’ll chase you. After all, there’s only like about 3 billion other women out there.
Don’t date her. That won’t work out for previous reasons mentioned. Plus, it’s so much easier to pick off younger girls, so what does it say if you have to find a girl that much younger than you to think you’re a stud? What you may enjoy is a brief physical encounter. Don’t piss her off, considering her father, but I really wouldn’t worry about that. My thought has always been that if they’re willing to have sex with you, then they like you enough to at least not send you to jail.
Don’t bother with her. At that age, she’s probably got issues and you’re probably get either hurt or in trouble one way or another. With you being 21, it depends on what you’re after as to what age range you should pay attention to. If you just want some “fun”, don’t go below 18. If you’re looking for something serious, don’t go below 21. However, there CAN be some exceptions.
Being that I’m 17 also, I have girlfriends who are going thru the exact same thing that you are. Her guys friends (if she has them) are prolly gonna make fun of her and call you a cradle robber, cuz thats what we do. But her girlfriends will prolly tell her to go for it unless you’re just looking for some ass. It’s up to you man. Just don’t let her dad know what you guys are doing, and he can’t do shit.

too bad you’re not in Rhode Island. The age of consent here is 16. haha, let me tell you guys what happened yesterday, possibly the funniest story of my life. I met some HOT college girl sitting at the college library doing nothing. Well, i got to talkin with her, and found out gradually that she was a senior, AND had taken time off, etc. She then asked me how old I was, and I told her 17. She then BURST out laughing, and asked me if I was legal or not! hahaha. i will never forget this. Anyway, she did OFFER me her digits, which i gladly accepted. She told me to visit her… When I was leaving, she asked if she could by me a drink. Then she remember and asked if she could buy me a soda

You need to examine this from different angles. If you’re just lookin for the “warm n sticky” you’d be better off goin legal. If you dig this girl, an appropriate course of action would be to get to know her without getting physical. If the attraction is purely physical then forget about it…the risk is not worth the reward. Something statutory on your record will screw your life up considerably in the future.
