As everything is overhyped it would be hard to say for sure, but this dude is the most overrated piece of genetic material going.

I saw something outlining his training regimen and hes actually rediculously strong. If he trained for strongman seriously, he might do well…too bad he has no heart and would give up.

He’d do about as well as strongmen/powerlifters/bodybuilders would if they entered mma.

ive seen his numbers from when he was in football. They are big but not strongman big. He would have his ass handed to him.

…Or for the matter, how about some football players or pro wrestlers (Big Show), how would they do in Strongman? I have to imagine at that level, they are not only genetically gifted as atheletes, they train thier hearts out. If strongman was mainstream (read money and glory), would they convert to this sport?

Yea, maybe the stats I saw were exagerated, but I was saying that he’s so big, if he put what the top strongmen put into it, he could do well but like that lowlight video shows, he has NO heart. He should just stick to sucking the death out of mice and spitting out fireflys.

I want to see the guy who doesn’t cry if his orbital bone is cracked. Crying is what your body does with that type of injury. That’s like making a big deal out of someone getting stabbed and then having the nerve to actually bleed.

I would much rather see Mark Henry seriously apply himself to Strongman.

I suspect his WWE contract would be an impediment…but he could kick as if he wanted to.

Sapp’s big and strong and not imcompetent as a fighter…he just relies on it too much. he’s got the balls to step in the ring (which most people don’t)…my opinion of him is he’s too muscular to be truly fluid as a fighter, and he’s just not that “tough”

as a strongman, i dunno…he’d prolly be decent, but not the best.

I reckon if he put his time into it, he could become pretty good over time, although mark henry would certainly be awesome. I think its a joke how everyone is criticizing him for being a pussy and useless, he may not be the greatest fighter but he has fought in the greatest fighting orgs in the world and has won many matches. Id bet there wouldnt many in here who would step into the ring with him.

They are two different things. How the hell can you compare a knife attack and 2 conditioned fighters fighting? He’s not alone in having suffered these injuries (can think of several rugby league players), but his reaction was a first for sure…

That was a surprising fight, entertaining too. No one is acusing him of being a pussy, but he’s certainly not that good a fighter and definately not that strong to compete.
