How to Take a Beta-Alanine?

I know I posted earlier about BETA-7, but heres the thing. I unfortunately work for the evil company known as GNC (I know they’re a rip off but its the only place that would hire me and call me back after filling out tons of apps and I have bills to pay, and I dont enjoy working there but need to) anyway back to the point, so it was cheaper for me to buy the pro performance beta alanine and i was wondering how i should take it to get the affects similar to BETA-7.

Its not timed released and the instructions say take one 2 hrs before workout and then 2 after you work out. My first work out is at 7:15 am, so does that mean i have to wake up around 5:15 to take it and then go back to sleep? My next work out is either at 5pm or around 8 depending on some stuff.

4 capsules= 3200 mg of BA.

I myself am also quite new to this supplement, so if someone is more experienced please chime in and correct me.

It is my understanding that although Beta-Alanine is most effective when taken both before a workout and immediately after, small doses should be taken throughout the day in order to maintain high intra-muscular carnosine levels.

I take about 8 grams a day…4 BETA-7 capsules, one taken upon waking, at lunch, after dinner and before bed…as well as about 5 grams of bulk powder; half of which is taken pre-workout and half post.

Beta Alanine is most effective when taken with a small amount of carbs. There is also some evidence that Taurine may interfere with its absorption (they use the same transporter) although one study I saw indicated that there was no effect. Seems like the jury is still out. Might not want to take it with a Red Bull
