I was wondering if anyone had information on Beta Alanine in terms of optimal dosage amount and timing. I believe Beta Alanine’s conversion to intramuscular carnosine is rate limited by enzymes.
So, what would be the optimal dosage at any one time (1 gram, 2 grams, etc.) and how often (that is, do the dosages need to be seperated in time by a minimum amount to be effectively converted to carnosine)?
I take 3 Beta-7 spread throughout the day in addition to what’s in the Anaconda protocol. Been using Beta-7 since it was released and haven’t found that timing makes a big difference, although if limited to taking it once per day I’d do so prior to training.
For me, the key is to take it consistently regardless of the timing.
That does change things since in my experience you’ll need to take the powder more often, and you’ll be more likely to suffer from paresthesia.
Unfortunately, it’s been a couple of years since I’ve used powder and I don’t recall the dosage I used. I do remember that it was a hassle having to take it so often, and suffering from numbness and tingling when taking too much too often was a major pain.
Regardless, taking it with a carb-rich meal or snack seems to help.
