It actually motivates me too, to stay accountable and don’t let brownbear down with a cheat day. Funny how our brain works.
When in did my biyearly waist measurement at the start of the diet, I first realized how chubby I got. My waist circumference increased about 10 cm last bulk. I think next bulk I’ll do this biweekly to gauge if more calories are needed or not.

This is the day #6 on plateau. But there is something good happening. I will not comment yet because it is only the day #11, so it would be premature. I need some more weekends (my worst moment to be loyal to a meal plan) to be sure about it.

@s.gentz: sometimes I think moderators are being indulgent with me, because many readers can think “oh, this guy is using Ozempic… so it is a good med…” (but I am not!) when open this topic. And I am thinking about if this can be harmful. So, the idea about moving this converstation to a training log is very important, IMO. To be honest I have one decesased training log at the Over 35 section. Well, I am also thinking about this. Thank you for the tip.

Link it if you do so I can follow. Don’t get discouraged by the numbers. Just watch the trend and what’s in the mirror. I’m a week into my diet and my weight has barley moved but the mirror is starting to show me what I want to see happen!! You got this!! Plan your weekend of eating so there is no room for error. Having your food ready to go is key.
I always prepared my meal plan in the morning or the night before. And always failed during the day. There were some episodes that I even tried to adjust macros after eat some non planned meal during the day. Another ones that I finished the day with some surplus and needed to compensate it on the next day. And another ones that I simply binged, skipped weighting the meal, and lost the whole plan. Something like kitchen destruction mode. More than ten years doing this.
But I never gave up.
At this this time this is the 13th day that I prepare my meal plan and nothing changes.

I do not exactly have a number to be reached. Numerically, for cases like mine, doctors use to ask for 10% of initial bodyweight in a three months.

It’s a fight, lord. Never, ever in my whole life, I had a continuous period like this. In the past I allways varied the total intake, sometimes much more than the maximum allowed.
But at this time, all these days are done with an unbelievable low calorie intake range (1500-2000 kcal).

I think it’s unbelievable that you stick to this. A real testament to the will power that was buried inside of you. It’s crazy that you are eating under 2000 kcals. In the end; this is prolonging your life, your quality of life and your health, so it’s worth it.
I’m also not doing that well anymore. BF is coming off. I’m visibly a lot leaner but it’s also getting harder every week. 2400 kcals is my daily intake right now with three 20 minute walks per day. Average calories burned by movement are around 700 for me. Mood is down. Sex drive is nearly non existent anymore. Recovery from workouts is as bad as it nearly ever was. I’m less talkative, less creative, less productive and more agitated. This all was expected at some point but it still is not pleasant. I’m happy it did happen in the 6th week and not earlier. Also I know it’s the diet as it is not the first time I do this, that gives me peace and let’s me stick to it. It’s just the diet, it will be better after this.

So I bet tomorrow will be a new low point in weight. It’s always like this. 3-5 days staying the same, then dropping down 1-2 pounds in one night.
How much are you moving per day? I think it would do you good if you upped your kcals to 2200 and burn 200 more with walks or similar. The net calories are the same, but the effect it has in well being is noticeable.
I’m thinking about what we will do after our challenge. I got some ideas.
