So you’re one of the grotty people who go commando to the gym.
Another reason why I’m glad I have my own gym.
And by adjusting the width of your hands, you adjust how high/low the bar will come up your body. So use a shoulder width grip and see if that makes a difference.
If you have short arms though, you’re buggered.
take DuckTape(R) (Duct Tape) and tape your junk to the inside of your leg…
Use heavy dumbells instead? Or just do whateverone else seems to do and wear boxer briefs.

It’s already been said, but compression shorts or something similar are your best bet.

Use DB`s (good for grip strength as well) or else you can do BB Haney shrugs (bb behind you)

I was going to ask what people thought of Haney’s…does it actually effect the traps differently?
Yea…i agree with the other guys just use dumbbells or an ez curl bar that has a loop where your junk wud be hahah

LOL to this thread…I used to experience this a little bit. I don`t do shrugs anymore as my traps overpower my shoulders anyway and my neck and traps get some growth from deadlifts and militaries. I have never bashed my wang on deads, either.
You could try behind-the-back shrugs. They feel awkward at first but after a few sets you can feel the movement better.

I also had this problem at one point. I had to decided, which should go? The dick or the BB Shrugs? I switched to DB’s.
No expert, but I do know what doesn’t hit my “junk”.
Got a shrug bar and never looked back. Not only good for shrugs but great for Deadlift as well.
I don’t like the idea of db’s. While they work, I’ve heard that traps respond much better to heavy weights.

Actually do they have a split bar where you are? Basically the handles to either side without the bar in the middle.

I was going to say, that’s some impressive ROM.
I have big legs and a happy meal size junk so I have no problems. Behind the back could be your alternative.
Isn’t this why Under Armor boxer briefs exist?
