Thanks, PX.
Even John Berardi, a really good contributor to this site, stated that quite a few times. I would go so far as to say that these minor spikes have NO effect on growth and that your growth potential is partially affected ONLY by what the normal T output is for most normal health status males. That is 7.5 to 10 mg per day from the testes. Eating a 20 - 30% fat diet with most of it from monos, polys, and some saturated fats from egg yolks, cheese, beef, pork, and so on is just a healthy diet overall, not some magic pill that will all of the sudden make your test levels go from 300 to 800.
Its the same faulty logic with thinking that shortening rest intervals and doing a large amount of volume is going to make you secret significant amounts of growth hormone. Geeks like Dr. William Kramer and company spend their precious lab time documenting shit like this. For what reason, I do not know!

I actually find the best growth for me is with LONG (sometimes 5 mins plus, but only on squats and deads) rest periods and that a lot of volume is unnecessary for me. But I often do lots of volume regardless because I enjoy it.
Who cares, squats make me feel like a real T-man.
Booyah for placebos!
I feel like extra recovery time helps. I have no evidence for this though.
Saturated fat contributes to production of testosterone.
That’s why it’s recommended on the anabolic diet as long as it’s eaten in moderation and with plenty of the healthy fats to balance out your fat intake.
But of all of the fats, I believe saturated fat is the one that raises testosterone the most.
You said you were eating all the necessary foods and such, but just thought I’d mention that in case you’re missing out on it.
For what that’s worth to you op.

Yeah… eat less plastic.
har har very funny
i mean use less plastic containers such as using them to microwave food[/quote]
Also the bottles that water comes in apparently “leak” oestrogens into the water if left in long enough, or especially if the bottle is recycled to become a “gym bottle” that gets filled and emptied multiple times a week…
Maybe it is an old wives tale, but i think there seems to be a ring of truth.
plus pesticides and fertilisers, and cattle and live stock is, as we know, pumped full of testosterone and estradiol along with all sorts of CRAP.
So the answer is avoid contact with ALL plastics, all non organic food sources, and all processed foods i would imagine, and live on a farm. when i say “on” a farm i mean in the barn in the hay.
Just dont let the farmer catch you with his pigs… he is REALLY controlling over who they hang with…

Lmao!
I want to make it clear to Mr. Popular that I’m not asking this question because I have an inferiority complex and that I’m looking for an easy way out. .
I simply stated that I’ve read almost everything there is to read on the topic, and I was just curious if I was missing a little info on the subject…which I am not apperently.
I’ve never had a hard time packing on muscle, and I’m well built, but I’ve never really been that aggressive, macho kind of guy either…which I’ve always attributed to being high testosterone.
Anyhow, I appreciate all the input guys;)
Thanks
You’re right who wants high testosterone anyways
lets all fill ourselves up with estrogen and watch sex and the city instead

Yeah really
Everyone knows that testosterone causes wars.
I consume three and a half raw Asian snub-nosed langur testicles daily, added 150# on my bench in the past month.
Saturated Fats

But I like war (or at least simulated war).

I feel unwell now…(but hey if it works)
There was this study done in Finland in 1988 that monitored elite Olympic-style weightlifters over a period of two years. They found that over those two years, the basal testosterone levels rose from 19.8 nmol/L (~571 ng/dL) to 25.1 nmol/L (~724 ng/dL). There was an even greater proportional increase in free testosterone, and LH and FSH. Mind you, this was in athletes who had already been training hard, and were in their early twenties. In an untrained, out-of-shape individual, perhaps those gains will be even greater.
That sounds pretty encouraging frank29;) I’ve also heard that sprinters have similiar increases in testosterone as well.
I’ve also noticed that when I’m more active in general the more I feel my energy and libido increase…Like when I’m out of work I feel sort of lethargic and low energy…but I have a job, or I start to become more active for whatever reason, the more energy and libido I feel.
