yes that goes for you too Mr. “Spandex Black Shorts Every-time-I-go-to-the-gym” Guy.

wear shorts that come an inch or 2 past the knees? Umm, what?

Do guys actually think about this?

Why don’t you wear your singlet and see if you get any fashion advice. My squat suit is black so even though I get looks, I know it’s slimming

I could really care less about how I look at the gym. I just throw some old clothes on.

i thought about what i wore to the gym when i first started.

now i just want stuff thats not restricting.

i did buy some new hi tech underwear.

my boxers kept ripping doin squats! i ruined about 15 pairs. lol

2 weeks before the meet my girl and i just did I wore my singlet in to train in it…and people were staring.

I guess I have nice thighs. or a small singlet. (top = just right, bottom = too small. meaning: large ass!)

The V-neck shirt will make your neck look skinnier, guys. Go with that.

Man I think this is fucked. I am not going to a health club. I am going to move some heavy ass fucking weight. I could care less what people think of me or how I look as long as I don’t smell to bad.

I where camo shorts with a tear in the ass and a beater with holes in it with a cap to keep the sweat out of my face.

Now if the douchebags that are txting the girls and curling in the squat racks shun me oh well breaking my fucking heart! Guess I will not be playing hide the soap in the locker room with your high fashioned friends.

Ditto - I think the article at the start of the thread if for fags.

You should come to my gym… you see guys in pretty polo’s and shorts with their hair all done just to work out… then they all hang around and yell and laugh out loud.

Shorts, T-shirt, nothing new. I’ve been wearing the same shorts and T-shirts for ages, the shorts are about ready to disintegrate.

Doesn’t matter what you’re dressed like in the gym, it only matters what you look like when you’re undressed outside the gym.

Each to their own. I saw this guy come in the gym, wearing jeans, a pair of black leather shoes, and some T-shirt, and he just started throwing weight around like crazy.

Nike and CG make workout shorts with a liner much like swimming trunks. I wear these due to the boxer splitting issue, it is also much cooler.

For shirts I have a half dozen or so black or gray UnderArmor or CG mesh shirts that are very comfortable and flex with the body much better then a cotton shirt.

Don’t dress at the gym. Be a rebel.

That’s what jumped out at me. Why on Earth would anyone want to make their neck look “slimmer?” And even if I did, I would never wear a v-neck. I don’t care how fashionable they are, they’re fucking ugly.

What about a tight Izod short-sleeve shirt with a v-neck sweater
draped over your shoulders? This is a timeless, masculine look, in or out of the gym.

Yeah. This is for turds who don’t squat. The only time I don’t wear shorts is when I’m either deadlifting or am short on time and NOT working legs. I can’t stand trying to squat with pants on.

I would totally wear jeans to the gym if I wouldn’t get thrown out (I’ve tried it before). And yes, you can squat in jeans. If you disagree tell the draper about it.
