Remember this one item-Pop Tarts. Just two of them has FOUR HUNDRED calories. Eat two between breakfast and lunch and two between lunch and supper and badda bing, badda boom-You’ve got 800 calories (only 100 calories from totally replacing soft drinks). Not only that, they’re not empty calories and you don’t have to worry about being a diabetic in your later years.[/quote]
How you going to Pass Pop-tarts as not empty calories? Aren’t they just sugar and fat? I mean, I guess they are less empty than Soda, which is just sugar, but is it really a good idea to replace a Soda habit with a Pop-Tart one?

I am truly interested in how much progress you guys are making if Pop tarts are avoided at all costs when GAINING WEIGHT.

I’ve put on ~15 pounds in under 5 months. Beginner gains I’m sure, but progress nonetheless. You don’t have to tell me to eat.
It’s just, why advocate ditching the ‘empty calories’ of soda and replace them with pop-tarts, which are nearly just as bad?
Because of just that-they’re quick calories that aren’t as bad as soda. At least you’re getting a gram of protein, vitamin A, Calcium, Iron, and some fat compared to soda.
Take food from the cafeteria.
eat a big meal, and when you leave fix up a sandwich. or fill a bottle with some milk if you have a fridge in your room.
considering you’ve already bought the meal plan, this will be free.
just don’t get caught.
