That don’t take much for my dog.
But please do have mercy on me…

I’ll consider mercy if you give me your women and bring me a steak.

You can have the trimmings from my steak and my women. They weigh more than me (I’m 205). If you drink a large quantity of beer in a short amount of time they look better. Make sure you continue to drink beer during sex. I failed to do this once sobered up a bit and thought “what am I doing? Never again.” The horrible thing is I’m telling the truth.
It’s fun:) People call me jacked, nickname me “the Russian Bear”, “Terminator”, “a beast”, etc. joke about me being their bodyguard, etc.
The fuckbuddies I’ve had through the last couple years all commented on it and enjoyed it and grope the hell out of me. And guys get a bit intimidated. And when I do ME lifts I get a crowd.
That said, I’m not even taht big (185 at 5’9 and prolly 12% BF), or strong (465DL, 355Sq, 240BP records), compared to most serious lifters here.
Oh, and ditto on that “you look good now, don’t get any bigger” every year thing. For the last 3 years at least.
I was the really really really skinny guy.
After a 6 month break from seeing most of my old friends,
I was greeted with the name of ‘Bonkers’
Does anyone really care how good people think someone else is? This thread has gone all weird.

Yes I care. I think its interesting how differences in physique invoke different reactions from others. We live in a physical world. Sometimes an impressive body can help gain more respect from others. For example a drunk girl came up to me at a party this weekend and said “wow your buff” Then she felt my shoulders and said “I like this” I said “do you want to go to my apartment?” and then she said “sure” You know the rest. Its stories like these that inspire me to train and eat right. I want to hear more.

My friend is close. 6’5, 125. It’s ridiculous, you can see his heartbeat. I’m still trying to get him in the gym.

This seems like a thread of 18 year olds trying to convince us theyre buff and chicks dig them. Maybe a little too vein for even me.
I’ve went from a fat 6"2 230 lbs to a skinny fat 170 to a muscular 235 all in 3 years.
The amount of idiots on the streets stopping me or trying to provoke me has gone down to almost zero. Before I would get a shoulder or a bump once in a while, now people gladly move to the other side of the pavement 50 meters away from me. In fact I rarely have to avoid people on the streeet they seem to do it before I can.
Generally when people meet me now they treat me with more respect and precaution. Some people categorize me as stupid putting me in the nerd category and treating me thereafter.
Any compliment or complaint I get doesn’t mean shit unless the person who says it has reached a level or goal I would like to reach.
I"m 5’7 and 190… I’ve been told before that I look like an Asian Oompaloompa on roids! WTF! I don’t even feel like I’m big at all

Well I wish I was 18 but its just an example of how some people react to my hard work in the gym and in the kitchen. Is it shallow? I think so. I don’t really give a shit if you think I’m buff or not. I care what women think. Its a great motivator for most guys. If bodybuilding can help me out in that department than thats a plus.
With that said I don’t see why you must insult us. Does it make you feel better about yourself? If so please continue Mr. Maturity. Your comments don’t upset me at all.

I get good responses from friends, but some people just hate on me man its ridiculous.
Some people just dont understand. When I first started working out and watching EVERYTHING i ate, my girlfriend at the time thought I had an “image disorder.” Some family members would say, “Dude youre obsessed…why dont you just relax and live life, you only live once.” blah blah.
I hate that shit because I never really know what to say. People think we just workout for aesthetics ONLY and its like, “NO DUMBASS, I plan on living past 55 and dont want heart and health problems that YOU will have at that age.”
Anyway, anyone else experience this? Some people just dont understand. They think its just some “fad.” Or you work out a couple months, and people say, “dude wheres the 6 pack man?!!” ahhhhh im getting pissed just thinking about these dumbasses.

Powerlifter : A weightlifter too fat to be a bodybuilder.
bodybuilder: A weightlifter to weak to be a powerlifter.
See? its all about how you perceive things.
Most peaple don’t think too much of me, I’m 5"9 and 230 pounds at 21% bf. Most of it is in my lovehandles and a gut. lol. But in the gym i get ALOT of looks and comments from men and women. Peaple admire powerful looking people. I remember this mesmerized look on one dudes face when i reped 225 15 times…
You get treated differently yes, but its really not all bad. Cept NOW everyone and there brother wants me to move shit for them lol.

I hear you there. Lifting should be for yourself, and not to invoke reaction from others. However I don’t think that was the intent of the thread.
It is cool however to have a girl accidently touch you and gasp in surprise and go in for another feel.
That’s just a perk, but not the reason we lift…hopefully. If it is the reason I can guarantee that once you get a steady lay, you WILL stop working out.

Sure, it depends on whether or not they play for your team.

Can’t do that, I am fiercly protective of my women. I’ll give you some of my friends women though, if you’d like. How do you take your steak?

Some answers may seem vein, but it’s a valid question, I think. The reason is, that people do react to the way I look because I train; and to be honest I don’t like to have those type of conversations with people. It makes me feel weird and awkward.
I realize that I really don’t train for them I do it for me, because I don’t care for the attention. Maybe if I were 20 again I’d like it more, but frankly it does garner attention from other people. That’s not vanity, it’s just fact. It is tough to answer this thread without sounding like a pompas ass though.
