I’m currently stacking TriBex 500, ZMA, T2, original MD6/Xenadrine, Omega 3 tabs, Folic Acid and a multivitamin, (max. doses on all). I also take 5 grams creatine and at least 100 grams of whey-isolate protein a day with a low, low carb, medium fat, high fiber, high protein diet. Even though I drink at least 2-3 gallons of water a day, my urine is often times medium to bright yellow. Is this my body using ketones or am I pissing my money, supplements down the drain? Even with deep discounts and under the table deals with my local health food store, I’m spending 3-4 hundred amonth on supplements. If it weren’t for the fact that they seem to be working I’d be more worried than I am. I’m getting stronger and leaner by the week, if not daily, but, is 4-5 lbs a week too much fat, too fast? I’m currently a quite buffaloish 313lbs at about 20-25 percent bodyfat, (6’4" tall), having ballooned up to 351lbs from a very T-MAN 255lbs at about 5-7% due to a severely broken ankle and pinched sciatic nerve. Also, any advice from someone who’s in or has been in a similar situation would be quite helpful and very much appreciated.
My understanding is that if you’re adequately hydrated (which it sounds like you are) and your pee still comes out with a tint, it’s most likely vitamins being excreted.
If the supplements are working, stay with them. As for urine color, how often are you taking B vitamins either in pill or food form? The B family is notorious for coloring urine. Nothing harmful as they are water soluable.
