How Many Reps/Sets for Deadlift?

Do them first in your training session.
We do six sets (including warm ups) 8/6/6/5/5/5
e.g
8 reps with 155lb
6 reps with 250lb
6 reps with 285lb
5 reps with 340lb
5 reps with 375lb
5 reps with 405lb

Basically this is a powerlifting set up (once a week or even once every ten days) easyish warm up and last three sets are the work sets.

Ive been using 4x3-5 recently.

However I prefer to keep deadlifts for max effort work and do my rep work with romanian deadlifts for posterior chain development.
