Curious, as to how people train.

Usually around 70-90 depending on what day it is in my rotation.

As low as 5, as many as 15. I’ll go up to 20reps on legs.

No, no how many TOTAL REPS do you perform in one workout?[/quote]

Oh what? You mean like I have to, add and stuff?

Far out you’re demanding Zeb.

About 110 is average for me.

100 total +/- 2 (these are the reps I don’t do when I almost kill myself on the 4th rep of a 5x5)

30-45 minutes depending on rest between sets

For me 10 is considered high 8 is mid and 5 generaly is the norm.

a warm up would probably on average be 10-12, 8, 6, 5 then the work sets.

abs no more than 3 sets 15 reps is good for me.

Calves 1st warm up is 20 then 8-10 then the work sets.

So…how many total reps in one workout session do you perform?

Not counting abs or warm ups my Day 1 workout for example would be 115 reps. With abs and warm ups 191 thats keeping in mid the abs are at 15 reps for 3 sets. And at least two of the warm ups are 12 and 8 reps.

I figure…probably around 100 or 120 reps per workout on rep day, and maybe 75 on ME. I’m trying to up the volume in the workouts, so sometimes I do more.

I’m very fond of the 5x5 with progressing weight, and being as I’m still using the WSSB template, I work down to a heavy single or double for the main lifts.

Rarely does it take me longer than 45 minutes.

Generally 3x a week in the gym, and soon adding a fourth. Pushups and situps on off days depending how I feel.

about 100 reps in 30-60 minutes depending on how much weight I’m using.

oly days are allover the place, but usually about 40 reps (heavy day) in 60 minutes or 100 (repetition day) in 60 minutes.

Doing Dan John’s OLAD. I had success with it back in the fall, then tried a three day split. In general, I prefer OLAD.

Program for me is M, T, W OLAD. Friday compete. Saturday sprint day. Fourth week is some bodybuilding work, playful training. I roll a dice to decide what lift, finisher, and rep/set scheme i use. Reps, sets, length of carry for the finisher is up to me, based on how I feel. I’m religious about following what I roll for the rep/set scheme for my main exercises.

Here are my set/rep schemes for primary exercises

  1. Wave, 3 reps per set (how many waves up to me)
  2. 5, 3, 2
  3. 3 sets of 8 with one minute rest
  4. 3-3-2-1-1-1
  5. Tabatas (20 seconds fast reps, ten seconds rest, repeat a few times)
  6. Big 55 (55 reps any style)

Saturday’s sprint day is three hill sprints, some jumps and pistols for finishers. The reps and sets of the pistols and jumps are up to me.

Friday’s compete day is based on the exercises I’ve done M-W, as well as the previous Friday.
