How Long to Stay at Weight After Bulk?

What is the common denominator?

You’re calling on others to stop giving you shit. We’re calling on you to stop being such as ass all the time.

Stop acting like you’re a victim.
But you are the one acting like an ass.

Me taken 10 Feb 2013 255lbs.

This is me at probably the “fattest” I plan to get right now.

Resolution on shirted AVI picture… crystal clear. Resolution on shirtless “fat” picture… taken during earthquake.
Wow

Clear enough for you?

I have more if you are still looking for things to complain about.
So you’re in the 17%-20% bodyfat range? Cool

at best you probably have 210lbs of lean body mass, at worst, 200lbs of lean body mass.

In all honesty, if you were ever to diet down to a competition lean, I’d say 190-195lbs.

How tall are you X?
?? I’m 5’10. Once again, you are pulling numbers out your ass.

An eye for an eye my friend.

Most of the time I try to be the bigger man. But since you’re so much more swole than I am it’s impossible in this case.

Honestly, you and Bluecollartr8n have had some really helpful posts lately.

Especially in that ‘when to end bulk thread’.

I could do without each thread turning into a shit-storm though… for sure.

So you fuck up threads now based on what again?

Your comments here didn’t help this discussion. You came for rock throwing.

My guess is, you aren’t gaining any respect lately for this.

No discussion can take place anymore. Every single post has to deal with this shit…and they really think they are justified in doing this over and over.

It’s pretty sad.

Oh btw sry PX but ur fat.

I thought you said you gained 10lbs from your avi pics in the last 4 months and leaned down?

Wtf is going on?
You’re right, zraw. I’m just fat. No muscle here at all.

Did this make you feel better?

Question…why do you think the OP would care what I think if I am just fat?

This is the heaviest I have been in a year and all some of you are doing is throwing insults.

Funny how all of these actions are not see as “ass holish”.
I really question why you don’t listen to people way more advanced/accomplished than you. It would be like me telling you that I know more about dentistry than you.

I’m talking about Stu and zraw, not myself.

Probably, but most of the Powerlifters I train with are in the 17%-20% (actually tested) and you look like you have the same level of “leanness” that my guys do.

5’10 at 210 is still pretty swole. I just don’t think it’s necessary carry that much bulk, when a lot of it looks to be a combination of fat, glycogen, water, etc.

I’m also using the gasp Casey Butt formula as well to get these numbers from my ass.

just curious what would be your estimated bodyweight if you were to diet down to say 10-12%. theoretically.

Maybe I am naive, but what the hell is with all the damn bashing that ends up in all the threads. I asked a damn question, Stu answered really well. Prof X also answered really well with what he believes worked for him. Then douchebags hijack the thread and start telling Prof X he has no right to answer anything. What’s everyone’s problem.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. And honestly, I could understand if X was some skinny or just plain fat guy, but clearly the man has muscular development greater than most here. I don’t want to name any names but someone guys acting like children also unfortunately have the development of children. To make matters short, cut the shit out.

Let’s discuss actual techniques and theories and do it in a damn civilized way.

Uh… The majority of us who are being douchebags is calling him out on his advice because it’s not great advice to begin with. A few of us, myself included, also think he’s a little delusional of how developed he really think he is, so we’re also harping on him because combined with the below average advice, he doesn’t really have any credibility to stand on.

And the OP just told you he doesn’t agree with you…so why would you fuck up his thread?

The best gains I’ve made have come from not giving a fuck about my body weight.

You also can’t compare two peoples body weights…everyone carries weight different. I am a lot lighter than I look and hear it from people.

I only weigh myself for shits and giggles these days. I am concerned with the mirror.

You know what happened when I cared about bulking and gaining X amount of weight in X amount of time. I got fat. Set points?

I’ll never be 255 pounds shredded as a natty. I got up to 255-260 pounds. I weigh 206-208 now. What does that 255 “set point” have to do with anything?

I listen to people way more advanced than me all of the time. I have trained with guys who have been in magazines before. All zraw has done is tell me how fat I am.

No offense, but there are many more people in the world than the few on this forum and more accomplished people don’t agree with everything those two posters write I am sure.

I get my info from many sources and experience…just like most should. The problem would be if people limited who they listen to to only two people based on popularity contests.

Apparently, even if the OP himself wants this shit to stop, the “posse” will continue.

Can you even name ONE person that got their weight up up up, then maintained that for a while, then leaned down, and actually benefited from it?

You think if Stu bulked up to 255lbs, maintained that for 2 yrs and then leaned down he would end up being 205lbs on stage?

I’ll catch the rest of you later. To the OP, I think bluecollartrain wrote some good responses. Take what is useful and leave the posse to the same shit as usual. No one can stop that unless they want to…and they clearly are intent on keeping it going.

I’m off to go lift.

Its all ive done/said because giving you any advice when you are unable to aknowledge that you are fat is pointless because you are desilusional my man…

My advice is this : If you are fine with the way you look and consider this is looking good then so be it… but please do not go around thinking this is what most people would call looking good.

I do not care about the incomming “many women think im hot” or whatever you will pull

When you do realize you arent nearly as developped and big and yada yada as you claim then im sure people will be willing to give you helpfull advices
