405lbs x 5 doesn’t equal 305lbs x 10…

It’s not a hobby for me I love to train I mean I love it so much that I work abs daily and I also do facepulls daily trust me it is my passion all I think about is eat sleep and train and I think the reason on why I have no muscle gains is because I lift heavy boxes for 8 hours 5 days a week because of my job

I had gyno when I was 13 that never disappeared. I had ACL surgery on both knees with no meniscus anymore as well. I got carpal tunnel surgery on both wrists at 27 despite never having a manual job. I’m 6’1" and I have freakin 6,5 inches wrists. You can always find excuses. There are people working with way less than I do. And they still work their butt off

I can only do 405 for 5 reps on a really good day most of the time I can only do 400 for 5 reps

Start loving it so much that you squat.

as @T3hPwnisher has made very clear… lifting is not for you… pick a new hobby

No I understand very well I’ve been working at a very active job for 2 years. First two weeks I lost 5 kgs than I never gained back. My legs are always tired and heavy. Got shoulders and elbows issues. So what? If nothing I see this as a boon, it’s very easy for me to lose weight now. You want to be ripped right?

Yeah that the good thing is that I can get ripped very easily with maunal labour because it burns alot of calories

You don’t have to be so mean the point of working out is not be bodybuilder its to be healthy and fit which I have all ready achieve would rather mean sit on my ass and nothing and getting really fat in the process wow I can’t believe you think that just because I have no results that I shouldn’t lift at all

It’s not your “lack of progress”, it’s your attitude towards lifting that makes it an unsuitable hobby.

I’ve had arguably less progress than you; however, I don’t complain.

THE SQUAT

Down this road, in a gym far away,
a young man was heard to say,
“No matter what I do, my legs won’t grow.”
He tried leg extensions, leg curls, and leg presses , too
trying to cheat, these sissy workouts he’d do.

From the corner of the gym where the big men train,
through a cloud of chalk and the midst of pain,
where the noise is made with big forty fives,
a deep voice bellowed as he wrapped his knees.
a very big man with legs like trees.

Laughing as he snatched another plate from the stack
chalking his hands and monstrous back,
said, “Boy, stop lying and don’t say you’ve forgotten,
the trouble with you is you ain’t been SQUATTIN’.

-Dale Clark

The young man looked fit, thick through the chest.
Bulging biceps and triceps. Washboard abs and the rest.
He strode a bit closer. To my shock and surprise!
I saw his torso supported, by two spindly thighs!
He walked with confidence and no apprehensions,
as he performed his first set of leg extensions!
I watched this debacle, watched his face turn askew.
Watched him scream in mock agony, 'til his set was all through.
T’was then I approached him and extended my hand.
“I don’t mean to disrupt you, but excuse me, young man!
I was admiring your work. Man, that set was nice!
But I wonder if I might offer some helpful advice?”
He spoke not a word. Simply nodded his head.
I could read his expression. He wished I were dead.
“Get off this contraption! You’re wasting your time!
Go to the squat rack! You can see…there’s NO line!
You don’t need machines! You don’t need to look far!
Just load on the weight and get under the bar!
Unrack that sucker! Squat ass to the floor!
Grab some big plates, and load on some more!
Hear the iron rattle as you pound out each rep!
But please, my friend! YOU must take the first step!
Come with me now! To the squat rack we’ll go!
Together we’ll get those tiny pegs to grow!”
He studied me hard. He seemed in a haze.
No words came! He stood in a daze!
‘Say SOMETHING, son! Speak to me, PLEASE!’
‘I can’t do it!’, he screamed! ‘I have bad knees!’

But you cant compare yourself to me I’m guy and your a woman men have more testosterone than women which lead to greater strength and muscle mass and I like lift I make sure that I go to absolute failure on every set and all my lifts went up but for reason the size is not their I have literally been training for 2 year and I have zero gains

Did you come up with this??? I didn’t you’re a poet too :joy:
