With my Ronnie Coleman genetics, I do a squat workout once a week where I NEVER go to failure on any sets and rest right about 1 minute per set by taking 12 deep breath DoggCrapp style.

On a GOOD day, I get half as many reps as the first set on the second, and I can really only do that if the first set was 10 or fewer reps. I keep getting half as many reps until I get to 1 rep, then strip weight off and repeat.

If I were to go to failure on the first set, I think I would be good for a single on set 2.

Genetically blessed.

I have really good work capacity I dont need to rest 5 mins between sets nor do I even the time to rest that long and I also can 3 sets of 15 reps doing side lateral with 15lbs an I only rest for 30 secs on all isolation movements

Translation: I don’t have the time to lift weights hard enough to require a rest because I’m too busy lifting weights that don’t require a rest.

Leroy colbert says that if you need to rest for than a min than your out of shape skip to 2:22

I just don’t the time to rest for 5 mins between sets if I rest 5 mins between sets I will be in the gym for 3 hours I have a life you know

Because Leroy colbert has the genetics to be a bodybuilder and I have ectomorph genetics lee priest as teenager natty proves my point that genetics are everything when it come to building muscle

Effort is a bit of a factor as well, I think.

You aren’t recovering in a minute. You also aren’t doing 3 sets of that.

I look like I’m a about to die in every set and I recover just fine with 1 min because I have really good work capacity

No it just that I work in maunal labour 8 hours for 5 days week so that’s why I have good work capacity
