I’m pretty new to this site and it looks like there’s a lot of people who use Surge. how effective is it? and what have you noticed from taking it?
It is very effective.
it’s hard to judge something like Surge’s effectiveness, since it’s really just food.
It’s like saying, are apples effective?
overall based upon studies it will help aid recovery.
I’d rather not go without it.
Yeah I’m an addict.
I like the taste, and there have been numerous studies that say a fast carb/fast protein drink post workout is optimal. However, it is about $2/serving, so if you’re on a budget just drink some fat free chocolate milk. It’s funny, I was being a cheapskate and saying, “$2/serving no thanks,” but would buy a $2.50 energy drink every time before a workout. Once I realized this, I bought caffeine pills and Surge.

When used as directed with a good diet/program it’s amazing stuff. I would liken it to crack as I would lift just to be able to have surge. I noticed less DOMS and less of a drained feeling the after heavy lifting.

It makes all the difference to me. It is the only supp that I can truly say I KNOW it works. I use only a very little bit - 1/3 serving after each workout. But if I don’t have it I get run down after just 1-2 days EVEN if I replace the carbs with some other carb source.
haha…PeterD you took the words right out of my mouth. They really should call this stuff Crack instead of Surge.
When I first tried it I had the original flavor and about hurled because it was so sweet. But after a drinking it a few times I found I didn’t want to train without it and really enjoyed the taste. And then came the chocolate flavor…
Having a chocolate workout drink seemed rather odd but I was willing to give it a try. But wow, this stuff is the best stuff ever. Hands down. I also find myself looking forward to my next workout because I know I’ll get to drink Surge.
Effective enough that I’ve been using it for the past five years and see no reason to stop. It really works for me especially with Creatine powder thrown in.
