Surge: Really That Effective?

I’ve been semi consistant with training for about a year and a half. I ran track in high school so I gained alot very quickly. At 20 yrs old and 6-2 went from 170 lbs, to just under 210. Recently thought of buying Surge but am somewhat deterred in using it as it says it messes with hormones, and just wanna know if the results are as good as claimed, and if it is safe or may have any bad effects. Thanks.

The only hormones that Surge “messes with” are cortisol and insulin, and it has positive effects on these when used as directed.

Surge is pretty much as safe as it gets when it comes to supplements. I normally don’t recommend supplements to kids, but a 13 yr. old could use this product without any harm.

The top three ingredients are whey-protein hydrolysate, D-glucose, and maltodextrin. It’s just food so it’s going to be safe for anyone.

Ever eaten any form of food before? Guess what, you just “messed” with your hormones. Ever slept? You “messed” with your hormones there also.

Not to be an ass, but this is most certainly a non-hormonal product. It just utilizes what your body does naturally to help stimulate muscle growth.

Why is Surge better then just drinking soda (or some other simple carb source, I just love soda) and some BCAA’s preworkout and whey protein after your workout?

cuz its simple, already premixed, and taste good. You could build the same drink on your own, it’d just take alot more thinking, effort, planning, and probably would taste bad

If you can bring yourself to train hard every time you hit the gym Surge will help you recover much faster! I will not train without it when I quit the Anabolic diet. When I started the diet I found out how much I missed it and I know you would feel the same!

The biggest reason why this doesn’t come anywhere close to Surge is that the carbs in most sodas are in the form of HFCS. Do a little research and you’ll see that this isn’t what you want peri workout.

The next big difference is that all of the protein in Surge is in the form of WPH, which is of a much lower molecular weight than standard WPI and WPC. Certain WPH are absorbed by the body very rapidly, which is ideal post-workout. Unfortunately, WPH is extremely bitter. The pure versions I’ve tasted were not palatable. Somehow Biotest has managed to do a pretty good job at masking this in Surge.

not to mention the taste of chocolate Surge is insanely good.

I’m a huge muscle milk fan, but Surge tops that in the flavor dept.

I agree, the benefits of Surge are outstanding. Only thing I can’t get over is the taste.
