I have been drinking Surge Recovery for a while now, after workouts. Maybe 6 months? I have no idea if it’s working or not though.
How do I tell if it’s working or not? I really feel no difference whether I drink it or not.

It’s not supposed to make you feel different or jacked up. It’s a recovery drink. Supposed to promote muscle growth etc.
Yeah, it’s nutritional. It’s not going to give you a buzz or whatever. If you don’t like it, don’t take it, but I’ve found it makes a difference and it’s a real painless way to get protein.
*Im not suggesting you do this by any means but you could probobly tell that it works by:
Do a Really heavy leg day and then finish it off with some 20 rep squats and dont drink a pwo shake, wait 1 week and asses how your DOMS was and then do a similar workout except with surge following it and see how the DOMS is after that.
I know from personal experience I recover WAY better with Surge compared to just a whey shake let alone nothing.
If you can’t tell the difference between taking Surge and not taking a good post-workout drink following a gym session, then it’s likely that you just aren’t training very hard.
So step it up! Don’t let the iron boss you around, but make sure that it does kick your ass. If that last sentence doesn’t make any sense to you, then train fiercely until it does.
I am in the ‘leave something in the bag’ school of workout. So I rarely go all out, and for good reason.
Still, I feel like I should feel some difference. Maybe, I’m one of exceptions, where it doesn’t really work?

Are you saying you’re a non-responder to carbs, protein, and amino acids?
Hell to the yeahs.
Get swolten, son, get swolten!
If nothing else, it’s damned convenient. After working out I have to get carbs and protein, so it’s nice to just get them in one shake.
here is what i think… after doing a heavy leg day, squats some single leg stuff and abs, before i found Surge i used to ache a whole lot… after Surge i still ache but no where near the same amount of recovery time is needed after Surge… its a super convenient way of getting most of what the body needs straight after a session…
there have been a few times lately where, because i work wierd timings (Royal Marines), my body felt shte before a session… i did hard lifts and drank Surge afterwards and was still able to get the bergen on the morning after… i would say in some respects that i overtrain often, and this with fish oil (plus shite ration food) helps me get through the days training!
if you eat right and your diet is solid 95% then you may not need Surge all the time, but for the vast majority Surge is a good product, one of the best… and alot of the PTI guys the lance corporals and SMajors use maximuscle products… i shun them lol…
the other benefit for me is… IT TASTES BLOODY AMAZING!!!

That’s gotta suck.
You won’t really notice anything by drinking some Surge PWO. But you will feel something if you don’t drink some carbs and protein PWO, you will feel really damn sore the next few days.
Um…without a doubt.
